I applied for the Skokie job

I applied for the Skokie job. The employees working there are great and the meat products are wonderful, BUT management is completely awful. They make first impressions of you because of your age and if they do not like you, forget about getting job. My message to corporate, if you care about saving your store in Skokie, please remove Dan from manager.

I am no longer a member of Wild Fork. I found their products sub standard. The Ahi smelled awful - got a refund. Every time I ordered the salmon I found BONES - LOTS OF BONES! i was told to send in photos of the bones, which I did - got a refund. It got scary because one large bone ended up in my mouth! I usually found them while cooking because I separated the fish. The last bone I found was huge! Who would save me from choking. So They gave ma 50 dollar sorry deal. I ordered the captain cut swordfish. Honestly, it tasted fishy. I have realized their products are not really good. Bones in fish filets?? If the fish smells it's not fresh - I'm from Boston we know our fish. So I'm writing as I asked them to do! They need to post on their website that their fish filets have bones & be careful. They never did this. I begged them to do this. There are other frozen fish companies out there. PLEASE BEWARE - WILD FORK FISH HAS BONES & TASTES FISHY. They are hoping I go away, but I do not want to find out someone choked on one of their bones! BEWARE OF WILD FORK! I ASKED AGAIN & AGAIN TO POST ON THEIR WEBSITE TO BEWARE OF BONES!! I DO HOPE NO ONE CHOKES ON THE BONES HIDING IN THEIR FISH FILETS.

Ordered in past, always good with a bit of a decline as of late. Went to order and no longer ship to MA. Called, customer service not good, been outsourced and no understanding of what I needed. Moving in to a new meat supplier.

The customer service was great, employees are knowledgeable & helpful & the store is clean & inviting at the new store in Naperville, IL & my first time shopping there. I purchased shrimp, dungeoness crab claws, beef bacon, Maryland style crab cakes & uncured chicken breakfast sausage, a seasoning...all priced good. However, the bacon was very salty but the texture was good & meaty, the crab cakes were okay but not a must buy again, the crab claws looked good in the package but tasted old & the meat was mushy once unthawed. Lastly, I refrigerated the chicken sausage links, not realizing that the packaging said keep frozen until serving so, when I went to cook them, they smelled sour...not sure if it's because they're uncured so, I tossed them. I'll likely continue to purchase the shrimp from there & try the chicken sausage since I didn't follow the packaging to keep frozen. Otherwise, I won't be a frequent shopper there.

Not Impressed

I wasn't aware that everything in the store is frozen, even desserts. I bought some meat, meatballs and burgers which I haven't tried yet. But I can say I tried the CHEESE BALLS/BREAD and they were not good.
Spices look amazing, but don't shop if you're looking for anything Fresh. No fresh produce or fruit.
I wasn't impressed

Once again 5 Stars

Once again, another 7 lb brisket on the wood-fire smoker, 135 degrees later and a little beef nap, an awesome meal hits the table.

Tender, lean but still juicy. This is the 6th one in 3 months.

Flower Mound Texas store staff was helpful and patient. Packed our Freezer Duffle properly and carefully for our 40 mile ride home. Well worth the trip.

I strongly recommend the Flower Mound Texas Store to anyone who wants consistent great quality meats, great service, and an all-around good experience.

Friendly, Great Prices, and A+ Quality meats.

After driving by a few times wondering what the selection and prices were like, I decided to give the Wylie/Murphy, Texas location a shot. I am glad I did.

The service was friendly but not annoyingly so. Folks in the store seemed eager to help, if you needed it.

The selection of meats is fantastic, I am able to find a few cuts that never show up in big boxes. I was able to try a few things out like the Tri-Tip roast, for under 7 bucks a pound. I threw that puppy in the instant pot and had one of the best roast and potato meals of my life.

The prices are great, you cant hardly get ground beef at 6-7 dollars a pound and to get a good roast, cuts of steak, and all the other items at these prices it really feels like I am getting a bargain.

Service is friendly, Prices are amazing, and the Quality is absolutely superb.

Use to be good

I have used them for two years and each time the quality has gone down. Their customer service is the absolute worse. Do yourself a favor and just don't bother.

Best quality, especially better than the supermarket and the prices are better than the supermarket. Meat tastes awesome

Loved them well one of them

Loved them well one of them, roasted with a rub of nutmeg, ground rosemary, thyme, and sage oh yeah freshly crushed mint. Premade with leftover lamb prepared for Shepherd pie. Lamb roast by the way is worth every amount charged. Would recommend all to Wild Fork.

I was reading the reviews in an attempt to make an educated decision about buying from this company. The question I have is all the negative reviews contain horrible grammar, spelling and poor English. The positive reviews are well written with proper English. Can someone explain this?

We received our order today.

We received first and last order today.
Pro's: super fast shipping
good selection
Con's: astronomical delivery
costs. Twice the cost
of the meat.

We will not use this service again as the cost of shipping is just too unreasonably high.
We are hesitant to try the meats after reading so many negative reviews about the poor quality.

delivery & support

a hit or miss with delivery. they dont stick to delivery windows and sometimes lets you wait a full day. convenient to have support line over the weekend but some agents are more interested in giving lectures than solving problems.

IF I COULD GIVE MINUS 10 STARS I WOULD, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, I WAS LOOKING FOR A FRESH TURKEY, ORDERED FROM THIS COMPANY AND SELECTED A 13 TO 18 LBS TURKEY, I THOUGHT IT WAS STRANGE THE WEIGHT RANGE WAS SO WIDE, ANYWAY I PAID $77 PLUS FOR THIS TURKEY AND THEY DELIVERED A FROZEN 10 LBS BUTTERBALL TURKEY I COULD HAVE BOUGHT AT MY LOCAL SUPERMARKET. WHEN I CALLED ABOUT THIS ISSUE, THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE, I SENT 3 EMAILS WITHIN ONE HOUR OF THE DELIVERY AND NO ANSWER. I AM HAVING A DINNER PARTY FOR 9 TONIGHT AND DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TO FEED ALLT HE PEOPLE ATTENDIND AND HAVE TO GO OUT TO FIND ADDIONTIONAL ITEM TO SERVE. WILL BE COMPLAINING TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ABOUT THIS COMPANY, THEY COMPLETELY RIPPED ME OFF CHARGING ME $50 MORE THAN IF I BOUGHT THIS MYSELF AND MISREPREENTED WHAT THEY WERE SELLING. ABSOLUTELY ANNOYED WITH THE EXPERIENCE.

Really bad

Really bad. Try a variety on first order. Hamberger, Ribeyes, and NY strip.
I could not believe everything was terriable. Tough and greasy.
No one in the family liked anything. First time ever throwing away meat. Even the Walmart meat department would be a huge upgrade.

Horrible delivery packaging and poor customer service

I was sent two A5 Wagyu Beef NY Strip Steak as a gift. So i was not aware of delivery on a day I was not home. I arrived home, 10 hours after delivery and steaks were warm. Opening the brown bag to find the steaks were NOT in foil envelope but at the bottom of the brown bag. with another lunch size bag labeled dry ice but NO Dry ice. Called the number on documents which was store in Evanston, rep at store was very nice and helpful and I received a call back within 2 hours and discussed a product replacement but that never happened and called AGAIN and had to explain problem again. Received a replacement finally however only 1 steak when two were ordered. I understand why first steaks were warm, they put a handful of dry ice CHIPS in brown lunch size bag. After my fourth call, the order was completed. The $200 worth of steaks is Not worth the money for the lack of quality control, headaches and time. Perishable food should be package in a much better manner than a few dry ice chips in a brown bag. I can get better grade steaks at local butcher for less than $100/lb. I had cookies deliver in a better packaging.

I have ordered thru wildfork since Nov 2023

I have ordered thru wildfork since Nov 2023. The quality has continued to deteriorate. The only items I will ever order from them again is the hanger steak and the skirt steak. Every other item I have ordered has either been too tough to eat, or way too much fat...and I like fat on my meat, and as for the shrimp...tough and inedible.
