Wileyplus Avis 51

My university has basically outsourced the entirety of my accounting education to Wiley plus. I don't even know where to begin. The content is plagued with typo's and mistakes that will literally disrupt an entire lesson, they'll explain simple concepts in granular detail yet on the most advanced concepts, simply read the verbatim definition and move on and the interface and website are literal hot garbage with issues purchasing the course almost every semester. If your schooling uses Wiley Plus, your school sucks just as much as Wiley and Sons.

Horrible website. I purchased a subscription, and they cancelled my order and have yet to refund me. After speaking with customer service the first time, they were unable to help and moved me to their senior support team, which didn't respond. Now, after contacting support again, they didn't help at all. Unreliable service and now I have to get a 0 on my assignment.

Literally did not let me access the textbook I paid $80 for. Sent me a broken link. Made me set up a SEPERATE account just to file a complaint and they never got back to me.

Terrible customer service, they don’t care if u learn or not, they will not change your grade nor even help u to understand how to use their dumb website. Rigid grading, sometimes flawed, you’re right but they will give u a 50%.

Absolute useless middleman organization that makes me pay them to even have access to the assignments. Complete and total rip off, I hate Wileyplus.

I bought a textbook for 160$ and wiley added a paywall to view the answers for another $120.

The book is mad buggy and doesn't help you with self-study and homework problems whatsoever. It's also a rip-off.

This is a rip off. $80 for a single term to which you get a few outdated videos relating to the questions. You get a textbook that no one wants to read, and for the price you pay it feels like a chore to just do work on here. Please, keep up with today's generation of students by adding more content, more up to date videos, adding steps on how to solve practice questions, and price it right if you don't want to update your content!

WileyPlus sucks. So much errors and inconsistency in the software

Absolutely the worst online homework system I have ever used. It marks correct answers as wrong, gives wrong answers as the correct answer, and frequently skips key pieces of information necessary to answer the problems. If I had any say in it, I'd never allow it to be used.

Horrible platform. It marks correct answers wrong all the time, has code bugs, is slow, unreliable, old, and useless in general. Not good at all.

Possibly the worst popular online education app I've ever used. The book is subpar, the answers to the questions are often wrong (usually an issue with sig. figs), and instructional material is terrible. It is not worth the money you spend on it. If you are a university considering forcing your students to buy this product, don't, you are wasting their time and money.

Their subscription stuff is bull, especially for students who are paying for their own materials. They shouldn't have their fees be based of of the book material. It's a horrible website.

My syllabus did not say we were going to use WileyPlus, so I purchased my new loose leaf copy on Amazon for $145. Turns out we needed it. So I ALSO needed to purchase WileyPlus for $131 (couldn't return to Amazon because I opened the loose leaf) . That is quite expensive for one class, Wiley was not willing to give me any breaks and I paid the publisher twice for access to the book. And really, the software is garbage compared to Connect. I can't go over the problems multiple times throughout the semester, its clunky, just bad.

Absolute trash. Absolute waste of time and energy. Fu*k universities that pander to them in order to offer online courses and certifications that are useless - and deprciative over the course of your educational advancement.

Confusing questions, biggest scam in the education industry. They will make you spend close to $100 just to waste your time, money, energy, and will to succeed.

For starters, it lacks reasonable input methods and the book used for Physics 2102 is awful. You must enter decimal answers rather than SigFigs or Scientific Notation. Many calculations are incorrect, finally, many answers that are exactly the same as what Wiley gives as the answer are not accepted.

Wiley needs banned from colleges, this is a tool to make people hate learning, there isn't much else that I can say or recommend. The platform is toxic to academia.

I took this course online as an intro to finance course. This is by far the worst course I have ever taken. I am an IT manager, and when I spend more time figuring out where to place digits, I wouldn't lie. I mean, if you forget a space or a number, you are screwed, and the grading sucks. I told my advisor and professor, and they both shrugged me. Please check ahead of time what software they are using. I had to end up dropping this class. I am a 4.0 GPA student, so I'm not lying here.

Website is difficult to navigate and dated looking. They deduct for wrong answers without explaining the reasoning behind the correct answer, so it seems like they are punishing you rather than trying to help you learn. Also you only get 1 attempt per question, so if you misclick an answer you are SOL. Next time I'll just burn my $100 instead of spending it on this garbage.
