I canceled order within 24 hours after placing. The business said no problem with returning full amount of money. HA! THAT WAS A MONTH AGO! Lots of correspondence but still no refund, should not be in business. TAKE DOWN THE WEBSITE, to protect future buyers!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with Wilfred Smith. The product I received looked nothing like the photos on their website — the fabric was extremely thin, poorly made, and felt cheap. Shipping took much longer than promised, and communication from the company was minimal and unhelpful.

It’s clear from my experience (and from many other reviews I’ve since read) that this site may not be trustworthy. The quality, service, and overall value were far below expectations, and I would not recommend purchasing from them.

Bottom line: Save your money and shop with a reputable retailer that stands behind their products.

This site is a scam- they are located in China and if you want to return something they ask for photos, offer discounts and stall- Then they tell you you have to mail the return to China which is very expensive

This is definitely a scamming store! I spent $90 on what I thought to be a winter wool coat. And received a felt like thin material jacket! There is not place on the website to return the product. So I opened an online request for return. I received customer service email offering 20% discount on next item, no return offered. I emailed again requesting return, and for 30% discount on next item, no return. I email again, and got 45% discount without return. I clearly told them I will NEVER buy an item from them again. I just need return. The discount is meaningless to me. Then they sent me a person’s address in China and ask me to return to the address!!! Unbelievable. And I’m convinced all 3 emails from customer services were drafted by AI based on the tones and the verbiage. I already filed complaint at BBB. I want to write this review to warn everyone: do not buy anything from this store!

I’m really impressed with the quality of the items I ordered. Each piece feels thoughtfully designed and comfortable to wear throughout the day. The fabrics have a nice balance of softness and structure, and everything fit exactly as expected.

The shipping took forever, the address listed on the label was wrong by one digit, package ended up, not getting to me and they want me to take the whole loss of the price of the package in the shipping and the insurance ,.
Phooey on them.

I should have read the reviews before I ordered dresses from them, one was too big and the other fit but was so ugly. The material is cheap. I have to pay to ship them to China to get my refund, not doing that and if I want to exchange and get a smaller size, I have to pay for shipping!!! This company is a scam and I am so sorry I ordered from them.

This company is a scam. The photo of the item online was not what I received. Contacted customer service asking for a refund, it took them weeks to get back to me. Then they said what I received was in fact what was on the store's website (I sent them photos to verify this was not true). They offered a 30% discount, when I pushed back and said I wanted a full refund due to false advertising they said they couldn't provide that because it's been >30 days, even though I contacted them within two weeks. Currently disputing this charge with my credit card now. This company is a scam.

I ordered what looked like a nice jacket for my husband. It arrived in a package way too small and was all wrinkled when I took it out. Very cheap material. My husband put it on and the zipper was also very cheap, and it was very hard to open and close. Afraid it would break. I reached out to customer service 3 times for a refund to this inferior quality product,and was told I could have 15% off, then 30% and finally at best a 45% discount on another product. That a refund would take too long. I did get a refund/exchange label, but it doesn't say free shipping and the location is China!
Please buy elsewhere.

Wrong size item, no return without high cost of return, not USA based company, this is a scam

BEWARE!!!! I would give zero if I could. I wish I would have checked reviews first! Be forewarned! All the bad reviews are earned. The dress I ordered was horrible! Cheap, flimsy, ugly! They say easy returns. They are anything BUT. They offered discount after discount till finally they sent me the return address IN CHINA!!!! They told me it would take 30 or more days to review it after they receive the dress and longer to receive a refund. What a SCAM!!!! I’ll believe it when I see it! NEVER AGAIN!

My favorite thing about the pieces is their classic style. I like clothes that I can wear for years without them looking dated, so It's great that they don't feel too trendy.

This site is a scam, starting with the photo of a “Wilfred Smith” shop supposedly located in New York. I made the mistake of ordering a trench coat that looked attractive on their website. I ordered in my usual size but the coat I received was about 3 sizes smaller and unwearable. They refused to issue a refund and offered an exchange for a different a $25 shipping fee — but the coat I ordered is no longer shown on their website in any size.

Complete scam, just like others have noted in their reviews. Ordered a dress and the quality was nothing like the representation on the website, very thin and cheap fabric. Requested a return within a week (30 day return policy stated on their website) and they are refusing to return and only offering to provide a 30% credit towards future purchases.

Honestly, I don't even want to give them ONE star. ZERO stars would be more accurate. This company, based in China someplace, is horrible. I ordered a dress (they were advertising on Instagram which should thoroughly VET THEIR CLIENTS for legitimacy -- I blame them too!) that was too small. It was stuffed in a package with no labels or tags. The returns icon on their website, of course, goes nowhere. I emailed and told them I wanted to return it. They asked for a photo of the dress. They balked at providing an address to return it and kept offering to give me a partial refund if I would just keep the dress, saying it was on me to pay for the return postage, which is expensive when you're sending back to China ($40!) I told them no thanks, I just wanted to return it for a full refund. After about 6 more emails they finally sent me an address in China to return it to and told me I needed to send them the shipping tracking number & postage receipt. Most LEGITIMATE retailers just have a place on their website where you fill out a bit of info and they send you a return postage sticker at NO COST to you. Not this place, which PRETENDS to have a legitimate flagship store in Manhattan.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WILFRED SMITH. IT IS NOT A REPUTABLE BUSINESS. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau (and to Instagram!)

A complete scam. I received my order well after the expected date, and it was low quality and horrendous. I reached out well within their 30 day return window to request a refund. They refused to honor the refund, instead asking me to send a video trying on the item, which I refused to do. They lost my original correspondence requesting a return, engaged in back and forth where they refused to offer a full refund and only offered 30%, before finally saying that after multiple weeks of back and forth, I had surpassed the 30 day return window and no refund would be offered. They are a deceptive, lying company. DO NOT give your money to them under any circumstances.

SCAM. I should have done my research. I totally fell for it. Its a baith and switch company. Do not do business with these conmen!

Do not buy from this company. Their clothing is cheap, nothing like the photos, and they do not provide refunds for returns. When I sent a photo of the item I received (wrinkled in a torn bag), they offered me 20% back on my purchase, then said their system was down and they couldn't process that refund, so they offered me a 50% on my next purchase. As if I'd ever purchase from them again.
This is my second warning to potential customers.

If they had negative stars, that’s what I would give them. The dress ordered was absolutely nothing like the picture cheap fabric poorly made.. sent return February 2 still have not received refund up to 15 emails between their supposed Customer Service and myself. They write back very lengthy emails full of total BS still no refund do not buy from this company.

This is a terrible company to deal with that. They’d say that it’s easy to return their items and it’s not. It’s very difficult. They don’t want you to return them.
