There were many things which made for a great experience. Firstly, there was the ease of actually ordering and then buying the book. Secondly, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Thirdly, that the book arrived within a couple of days and last, bit definitely not least, was the way the book was wrapped so beautifully, not just in protective cardboard but also with a most beautiful poster, which I am trying to think of how to display. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

Hunting Raven books in Frome is a real shop with real books run by real people who know a lot about books. Buying a book from them is a very human experience which is great for humans, like us.

My book arrived promptly and was very well packed. The book itself was wrapped up like a present which was a very nice touch. I would use them again.

What an enterprising bookshop . Their shop window display draws you into investigate further. Putting on a book signing session is a real treat with a great fan base. Well done them.

The only down-side was the length of time it took for the gift voucher to arrive. Second class signed for is really unhelpful, especially if you're out all day. As it comes in an ordinary envelope it fits through the letterbox so signed for is unnecessary. A choice of postage methods and prices would have been better.

Winstone's is not only a lovely, welcoming shop to spend time in, but there is always someone knowledgeable to give friendly advice if needed. The selection of books is comprehensive for a small shop and any books that are ordered arrive very promptly.
