Carefully packaged book
I wanted a hardback copy of Nelson by Dominic Sandbrook for my grandson to add to his collection of other hardback books in the series .
The book arrived promptly , carefully packaged , wrapped in special paper inside sturdy cardboard packaging . Great, as it’s a book to keep !

Winstone’s Hunting Raven in Frome is a delightful bookshop. Excellent service (order a book and it’s there the next day). Lovely informed staff. Interesting book events. We’re so lucky to have this shop.

Disappointing
I'm sorry to say this was not a welcoming event. The information email mentioned some kind of groups to welcome and include people coming alone. I saw no sign of this.

A great place to go. The Frome branch, has a great selection of books, easy to get around, collecting my order was simple, and done so in a very friendly and pleasant manner. Will definitely be going back again. Thoroughly recommend it. Top marks.
