Gabions and stone excelent quality
Bought both Gabions and stone from wire fence. The quality of both were excellent. The stone contained very little debris, was clean and consistent size. The delivery drivers were very helpful and positioned the two large dumpy bags of stone where we wanted them of the front drive. Spent time loading the Gabions and we are very pleased with the results

We're really happy you're pleased with the gabions and granite stones you purchased from us.
These are class 6G gabion stones so while they will differ in shapes and sizes slightly, they should be consistent throughout the bags. And the bags can contain up to 10% of debris, but this may differ from batch to batch, depending on how the quarry manages to dig out the stones.

I needed a couple of gabions for wood drying which were to be used vertically. I wasn’t sure whether I would need any spiral fasteners. The woman I spoke to (sorry, I can’t remember her name) was really helpful and saved me some unnecessary expense. The gabions arrived flat packed really quickly and were easy to set up, sturdy and perfect for what I needed. Great product and service all round.

We're glad you found our gabions strong and easy to put together.
You opted for the thickest wire options (4mm and 5mm) and they are manufactured to the UK industry standards so they are really sturdy and durable indeed.
Since the baskets are pre-clipped at the base and the back of the lid, only the loose vertical corners need to be connected with the free tying wire, and the lid on three sides.
Overall, they work somewhat like IKEA furniture, so we're happy to know you found the process straightforward.

PVC dipped galvanised mesh arrived on schedule. The quality of fence is great and was perfect to add additional layer of protection to outdoor hutch for micro ferrets. I recommend this business’s service and product.

Great solution to secure a garden gate…
Great solution to secure a garden gate before my young rescue dog arrived. Gate still looks attractive but possible gaps for an escapee covered by wire panel. Perfect. Arrived promptly too!

Excellent Service
The lady from Transylvania, who took my call, immediately saw what I was looking for and advised me extremely well. The fencing, when it arrived, is ideal for its purpose. There was a slight glitch in delivery because the driver ran out of time on the appointed day, but when I enquired I was immediately reassured by the same lady who also sent excellent details for the bank transfer.

Good price and speedy delivery
As a new fence builder (first time dog owner) I was bemused and baffled by the choices out there for my fencing requirements. I found the website clear, provided lots of useful advice and I bit the bullet and ordered everything I thought I'd need. Pricing was good and the items arrived a couple of days later. All went well and the fence is now up and awaiting our new family member!

Cat exclusion zone fence.
wire fence arrived very quickly and in good condition. Fence now in place for 2 weeks and so far no cat poo on my garden, perfect. The wire was easy to work with and the fence looks great with the assistance of a tension wire 2" from top and bottom. I am really happy with the quality of this product. Recommended.

31mm 105cm high chicken wire netting - Excellent Fencing
Re the 31mm chicken wire netting, this is just perfect for my fencing requirements. Even with a 50m roll, it isn’t too heavy to manoeuvre and stands upright on it’s own with no problem. The aim is to keep the foxes and rabbits out and so far, nothing has tried to jump over the top. I am using another cheaper netting underneath which is where they are trying to get through. It is definitely worth paying a bit more for quality.

We're glad the chicken wire you purchased from us has helped keep wild animals out of your garden so far!
Although chicken wire is not the UK standard for fox proofing (as the wires are quite thin and can be chewed through), it can still act as an effective deterrent if the animals are not too persistent. And with the right reinforcement (ie. post attachments and reinforcement from the bottom as you mentioned), it can be just enough to keep the wildlife at bay. :)
