No Claim Discount
Worst car insurance provider ever.
When I joined last year my policy documents they sent reflected only 9 years of NCD even though I actually entered 13 years on the comparison site. The customer service advisor assured this will be fixed on the renewal documents. However, on the renewal documents they messed up again. When I contacted them again, they asked for the NCD certificate from previous provider Admiral, which I got from Admiral within few minutes. After contacting Stella again I was told, they will send me the amended certificate by end of business today. Guess what, as expected, I never received any correspondence from them after waiting all day.
Update: it's been 3 days. As advised, sent two emails with the proof of NCD from previous provider. No response whatsoever. Useless! Shambles!

No hassle free as advertised
Purchased an insurance on 20 August but still expecting the delivery of their telematics device apparently posted on 21Aug by Royal Mail 48, after 16 days still waiting :-D
But also received many emails, texts regarding cancelling my policy if I don't activate the device never received and yet extra charges related for cancellation and return of that device but they never mentioned £180 refund of my deposit. This company is a mess, only requesting more time to assist you and minute later sending more of these nuisance emails and texts. So, a new device has been posted just yesterday and if not received within next 48 hours, I will cancel my policy, request full refund and initiate investigation on suspicion of fraud. So sick of these "no hassle" companies.

I have been contacted today via text…
I have been contacted today via text and email demanding that I fit the telematics box that I have yet to receive. So, firstly it is very difficult to fit a device not in my possession. Secondly, my policy does not start until the 21st of September, so, why would I fit a device to my car that is not required until the 21st? No need to call me as I will be calling you in the morning for a full refund of my deposit!
Update,: contacted by customer services, they were very helpful and addressed my issues. I still didn't take out the policy, but at least my gripes were addressed.
