10/10 would not engage with this insurer.

switched from 5 to 1 star, because i aint been with stella for long, 2months after passing my test and the money for this month insurance got bounced back and stella terminated my policy and are trying to charge me £100 for cancelling and are passing that to a debt collection agency?!
now i have to walk my daughter to doctors for her first vaccinations out in the poor weather. i am honestly disgusted with how low stella cares for peoples circumstances and will be switching to different insurer.

due to this reason i highly would not recommend stella at all. frustrated over this and its put alot of stress onto me and my appointments that are booked for today and tomorrow.

for people looking for reviews upon this insurer. i wouldnt waste money on them they have taken £5/600 . money grabbers.

Poor customer relations

Late sending the tele device out over Xmas - demanding emails since
Was on holiday and unable to activate the tracker and explained situation - but not a great response from them
Spoken to like an delinquent employee and demanding emails a plenty

I am not very tech savi and could have done with some more details on how to sync devices so that I could download the app. Also, the questions when setting up the insurance do not allow for enough variation. For example I will probably need to add business use to the policy but this didn't seem to be included in any of the questions.

Don't use Stella Insurance

Stella Insurance is the worst insurance arrangement I have ever encountered in the past 30 years of driving in the UK. I will not recommend them to my enemy because they cheat and use any reason to cancel your insurance. Only use them if you want to be insured twice in one week and risk police fines, as they can cancel your insurance without you knowing. They also feed on the deposit they collect from you. If you call them, you will be on the phone for over one hour, and they won't pay what they owe you when they cancel your insurance.

It was a nightmare experience. I was contacted more than five times via text and email demanding that I fit the telematics box I had yet to receive. And eventually, when it came, you could see that the company had every plan to cancel and make undeserved money from me. Until now, Stella has owed me a refund after deducting 95% of the deposit; It is purely an advance fraud. You paid the deposit before Stella confirmed the insurance, and they cancelled it within three days. Even though I have contacted Stella more than 15 times, they never paid me the leftover refund after deducting the exorbitant charges. They initially threatened that I should pay a difference because they thought I wouldn't return the telematics. As of today, the time of submitting this review, they are still owing me. They kept asking me to call them when I had already sent several emails, the main content of which was not attended to.

The Financial Ombudsman Service must investigate the company's affairs and how it cheats on customers.
