Wonderful Holidays UK took an absolute wretched situation (clients in destination, tour cancelled 48 hours prior to departure, different tour company) and turned it right around. So far, it's been a great experience. The agents are EXTREMELY responsive, possibly more than any other company I've worked with in the last 6 years. They are prompt, attentive, and truly engaged in the clients' overall experience. I'm grateful to have been introduced to them!

From flight to the hotel everything was great, comfortable transfer, hotel was great very comfortable, very nice staff, beautiful atmosphere, good food , breakfast, evening meals were great, tourists guide was nice, had good tour on the whole we had great experience

Had a great holiday with wonderful holidays. Tours were great and accomodating and got us on an extra one last minute. Regular contact too which was helpful.

From the start the team at Wonderful Holidays UK were professional, responsive, and willing.
We asked them to prepare a 2 week tour of central Italy based on our outline. They embraced the task willingly and with frequent exchanges of ideas and information, within a few weeks we had detailed private tour package, with 4star accommodation, transport including airport transfers, and guided (mostly private) tours in each of the main centres, booked and paid for. We were allocated a support team who were just a WhatsApp message away, to help with any concerns or problems. There were some minor hiccups which were not entirety the fault of WH and they compensated us for the inconvenience.

Fantastic Tours but a Disappointing Start"

Our holiday got off to a rough start. When we arrived at our hotel, we were too early to check in, which was expected. But even after returning at 3 PM, our rooms still weren't ready—we had to wait another hour before we could finally settle in. Unfortunately, the rooms were dirty, and to make things worse, my sister and daughter found cockroaches in theirs.

The next day, things didn’t improve initially. Our scheduled tour got disrupted because the guide went to the wrong hotel and claimed we weren’t in the lobby at the arranged meeting time. As a result, we missed seeing Sugarloaf Mountain in daylight, which was disappointing since I missed out on the photos I was really looking forward to.

That said, the travel operator responded impressively once we reached out. They quickly arranged a private tour to make up for the missed one, and everything from that point on went much more smoothly. As a goodwill gesture, they even added an extra Ginga Tropical experience at the end, which we really appreciated.

Out of all the hotels, our favorite by far was the one in Iguazu Falls—clean, comfortable, and everything we had hoped for.

Overall, despite the bumpy start, the tours themselves were amazing. The effort the company put into making things right didn’t go unnoticed, and that really helped turn things around. I would recommend them, but suggest they double-check hotel bookings and tour pick-up logistics in the future to avoid similar issues for others.

This tour made our whole 9 days in Italy so seamless. They were spot on with the itinerary. It was helpful to have all of our information in one spot and easy to check and grab our tickets for various excursions. I had to leave a day early due to a death in the family and they were so accommodating and helpful when I needed to change my ride. Would recommend and book again with them!

Our family recently took trip to Italy and it was a fantastic experience for us all. We would not change a thing.

From organization and communication prior to the trip to the vacation itself, Wonderful Holidays helped us have the trip of a lifetime.

They assisted with personalizing portions of the tour package to meet our requests- like driving Vespas from Lake Garda around countryside. This day of visiting historic sites and touring vineyard was a really special day.

Our main stops on this vacation were Rome, Vatican City, Verona, Lake Garda, and Venice.

Excellent variety of types of activities- walking tours outside, inside tours, big tour groups, private tours, vineyard tour with lunch, boat rides, Vespas, gondolas- everything!

The tour guides at each location were knowledgeable and friendly, giving us so much information. They were all passionate about all they were sharing.

Our shuttles/trains/boat rides to make all connections and get delivered directly to hotels worked perfectly. We didn’t have to worry about anything.

The daily communication listing the next day details was perfect.

We had one change request while on tour and they worked with us to make it happen.

Hotel quality and locations were excellent- we really enjoyed the boat ride right to our hotel steps in Venice.

We had a good combination of planned activities as well as free time to explore.
We strongly recommend using Wonderful Holidays to plan your next international trip, and we will do the same!

WHAT A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY 😊

Myself and my sister’s amazing 7 day Luxury adventure to Rio de Janeiro and the Iguazu Falls, followed by a 3 day tour to Buzios, Arraial and Cabo Frio truly lived up to and exceeded all expectations.

These 2 tours were arranged by the amazing team (Penny,Barbara,Sam,Wendy and Rose) at “Wonderful Holidays”

From my 1st enquiry (and daily throughout the holiday) their professional, kind, caring and personal service was exemplary.

The guided tour of Rio led by the very knowledgeable Sandra included a City tour and visits to all the world famous sights including the cable car ascents to Christ the Redeemer Statue and to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain for the unbelievable views of Rio De Janeiro. The tour even included a delicious Brazilian Carvery lunch.

After the inclusive 2 hour flight to Iguazu we were met by Jamil our personal tour guide who ensured we made the most of every moment of our 2 day tours of the Brazilian and Argentinean sides of the Iguazu Falls. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking.
The inclusive Bird Sanctuary visit seeing exotic and rare bird and butterfly species in their natural rainforest surroundings is something not to missed.

The Wonderful Holiday’s team also arranged additional excursions of a helicopter flight over the Iguazu Falls and the Macuco Jeep Safari through the Rainforest and Boat Safari to the Base of the Falls.

An inclusive flight back to Rio was followed by our trip to the tropical paradise of Buzios with our personal tour guide Beni -what an amazing character! - with an unending knowledge of Brazil. In Buzios a local tour guide Juliano also joined us to add his knowledge of the area.

Included in the 3 day tour was an inclusive a 5 hour boat tour to isolated white sandy beaches and secluded coves for snorkelling.
Also included in this tour was a Beach Buggy Safari to view sea turtles.

I would highly recommend these truly amazing tours expertly organised by the incredible team at Wonderful Holidays (a UK based company).

"Wonderfulholidays" is well-named. From the booking date to the final day of the tour, the communication with the company staff team was excellent. We requested a change or two before the tour began and that was quickly accommodated. As well, a team member (I think Sam), alerted us to a great hotel deal which we were pleased to take advantage of... as for around $100 CAD total, our last 6 nights hotel stay were upgraded to ocean view... a steal. Barbara, with some support from Penny, was our main contact on the day-to-day communication and updates on drivers/guides, pickup times, etc., as well as following up on the day's events. An impressive accomplishment! An emergency contact number was also always live and that was indicative of the care and attention built into the tour planning. We had a "wonderful" stressfree experience with an obviously talented and competent team.

Wonderful Holidays did a superb job of coordinating, executing and communicating with us before and during our trip.

The thoroughness of their approach is truly appreciated as well as the timeliness of their communication. It is particularly comforting to receive notice of confirmation for upcoming events

The thoughtful scheduling always provided sufficient time for transport

Pick ups and drop offs were reliable, pleasant and occasionally entertaining
