The package arrived fast and well
The package arrived fast and well, packaged really good. Out of curiosity, I ordered the invasive green crabs, 5 bags of them. When I cooked the first bag, most of the crabs were 'ghost shells' meaning it didn't have any meat on them. When it did have meat on them, the flavor is amazing...but the quality control should be more extensive. There was probably only 20% crabs that had meat inside, so a bit disappointed. I realized this is an invasive species but I was expecting dense shells.

Hi Don! Thank you for giving our invasive green crabs a try and for sharing your experience. You’re absolutely right—these crabs are unlike traditional crab products. Because they’re an invasive species and completely wild-trapped by our oyster and clam farmers, their size, shape, and meat content can vary a lot. For that reason, our chef customers typically use them to create deeply flavorful broths, bisques, and sauces, rather than for the meat itself. We note this on the product page, but I understand how it could be surprising if you were expecting consistent dense shells .

The process of ordering is seamless and shipping and delivery are prompt. The fish always arrives still frozen. Your grey sole is the best. Even my young grandchildren (who are very fussy when it comes to food) love it.

Great Soft Soft Shell Crabs
The soft shell crabs were wonderful, I really enjoyed them. They were sweet and tasty. I used pancake batter and herbs to coat them and olive oil to fry them. They were great.

I believe there may be a mix-up with the steaks, as we don’t carry Pat LaFrieda products. We carry American Wagyu NY Strips come from our friends at Black Hawk Farms and, like our fish, are super-frozen to lock in quality and preserve the best texture.

It is the best! The fish quality is much better than other mail order. The fish is already clean. I am surprised I can prepare a few recipes now. Fish day is always a happy day.

Outstanding online fish experience!!
Each type of fish we opened had NO odor and smelled just cold, if I closed my eyes and smelled the fish, I wouldn’t know it was fish.
I have to be careful when I place an order to see the weight for each package. We are only cooking for 2 people.
So far, we are EXTREMELY happy with the products from Wulf’s Fish Company. The packaging is superb and the cooked fish is even better!!
