If i could give zero i would

If i could give zero i would. A2 dominion caused my babies ashes to be destroyed and never once said sorry. I am being evicted today from a b&b that they forgot to tell was going to house a disabled person and son. Someone tried to rape me and not once did they care. They places me somewhere unsafe left me with no money and no way to get my son to school so he was off yesterday and will be today and monday. I have been threatened by FUAD a decant manager that if i "kick up a fuss" at the next place he wont house me. So if i advocate against rape ill be homeless. This is by far the worst landlord ive ever had. I am on medication for anxiety and ptsd due to their awful behaviour. I also now have to get therapy for my son as he has been wetting himself due to stress. I could go on and on. I got a chest infection from the asbestos and mold which they left me live in. They hang up on you they are rude and not professional. I will be seeking legal advice for the emotional abuse we have had to put up with

Edit...still not home and still so stressed that i have now had to have sleeping tablets again. I will never understand why people cant just apologise. I even had evelyn tell me i make her feel uncomfortable after telling her how annoyed i was about my sons ashes. She could have cared more about a dog turd than what i told her. She refuses to apologise so one was offered to me by her manager. The last time i checked even a 9 year old can apologise without his mummy having to say sorry for him. Their reviews are bad and every single resident on my road has told me all the issues they have had with A2 and thankfully i have lots of evidence to prove it. Not to mention the fact that i was offered 50£ compensation i argue it goes to 250 whivh can also goes towards rent ig its not paid and other fees hidden in the fineprint . 250 for ashes and all all the other things ruined by mold i had to ask my sons school to help with his clothes as he had nothing left! Mold ruined it all and not one of them xare anthony was awful very rude and david or dave he was awful thwy changed the locks to my flat and refuse to let me get my letters even though i told them cervical cancer letters are there and i need them!

Its been near 3 months away from home. I am depressed broke alone and see no joy to be had. I had a mental breakdown thanks to A2 it was getting so bad i had to get my son therapy. A2 have taken no responsibility and it shouldnt have got this far and the cheek of it to sau i casued the mold by hanging some towels loll thats hilarious and also BS i had it proven they are wrong and yet they still punish me. Advocate and you get punished. Be quiet and suffer and youre good.

Incompetent and negligent

The building manager is unreachable and never responds to emails nor phone calls. They never visit the building either.

Repairs go many weeks/months without resolution.

Complaints are not taken seriously, even attempting to gaslight the person who authored it.

Communication with contractors is really poor, often resulting in visits where the professionals have incomplete information and thus cannot complete the job due to lack of tools/personnel/etc.

If you can avoid A2, do so. They are not a serious management company.

I can't believe how incompetent A2 dominion are they are the worst housing association in the country and the contact centre is homophobic and racist in the way they deal with you as a resident also trying to contact them is diabolical and they are useless in every aspect of the business

They are without doubt one of the worse…

They are without doubt one of the worse managing companies in the country.And I deal with many.
I have dealt with them many times. Recently they could not send a working fob in more than 2 months despite paying upfront and ordering twice.
Wasted hourson emails and calls. Do not give up, follow the complaints process, go to 2nd stage and then to the ombudsman. Don't despair , keep going. Have it to go on record and keep going until to get some sort of compensation from them.
It's barely worthwhile, but as I said it goes on record.

A group of absolute mercenaries

A group of absolute mercenaries. Whilst their profit in a year rose from 11m to 14m in one year, they continue their ridiculous increase in service charges. Every year a £70 increase. Every year the rent goes up. These properties are mainly for young people who have saved and worked hard for themselves to get on property ladder. It’s partially this weak governments fault for allowing this to happen.

My rent and service charge was £500 in 2023 it’s now £780 in 2026 after their recent letter (the only time they actually reply to your messages or speak to you is when it’s money they want). Needing an extra 3k a year has left my suicidal

All good anyway. At least their profits are up. I am sure the likes of Ian Wardle and the 50 plus shareholders are happy with a great year and more money in their pockets. Legends

A2, an Opportunity to Improve Services!

Leaving this review in the hope that A2's media team might pick up and sort out the dreadful state my flat is currently in.
I am classified as a vulnerable client under the new Awaab's Law. A2 have been out to my property 5 times recently since Xmas, surveyors have written reports making recommendations and not a single person has come back to me to follow up. I call, I speak, I take part in so many of your tenant participation events in an effort to make a difference the proper way, could they follow through with their part?
Last year I had to advise one of my own clients who was so thrilled at the thought of having found her dream flat, on discovering it was an A2 Dominion property, to please go away and read reviews of A2 before she signed anything. I feel as if my life savings are in a flat with cladding issues put further and further back meaning that I cannot sell.
Your surveyor suggested that following the discovery of an historic slow leak, which has me in a flat with half of the kitchen floor up, still with flies breeding somewhere, that probably the bottom half of my kitchen needs to be pulled out to check to see if there is a collection of water beneath my subfloor. He was going away to suggest that, as a shared owner with a progressive disability, I had little course to be able o rectify this. Instead of doing it through the buildings insurance he said I might be able to make a case for A2 to do this and me to repay them gradually.
And then just went.
I call to chase, call to chase, and eventually get just a text, saying 'WO0248259 HAS BEEN CANCELLED. ALL REPAIRS INTERIOR WOULD BE YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY. THANK YOU', yes shouted in capitals, just like that.
What a way is this to conduct business?
A2, please accept this in the vein in which it is intended, as somebody who works in housing myself I would never correspond with one of my residents in this way. We are human beings here and you do have a duty of responsibility.

That star doesn’t count

That star doesn’t count. I been living in one of A2DOMINION flat for nearly 8 years. The only time I hear from them is when the rent payments didnt go through, i been asking them to move me about 7 years ago because the lift in this building is been broken 5 years on and off and me being disabled and living at the 4th floor (I got bullied to take this flat ) is hard for me to go out without the lift working. Sometimes I don’t eat for days because the lift not working (I can’t do stairs because of my health) so I lost a lot of weight and I’m feeling worse now than when I came. They sent an email saying they are going to compensate all the tenants in my block regarding the lift being broken for so many years , what do you think happened, no body got nothing at all . I’m disabled and I do need support i been crying to them to support me but of course nothing at all 0 support like I said they only contact you if there is a money issue. I sent hundreds of emails and they never answered me back. Today the finance Lady called me saying the arrears (6 weeks) need be paid, I don’t have a problem with it at all but is how she said it and she told me I don’t need gas or electric so I can speed the payment to them She was serious about it I told her I’m disabled and I need to put my medication in the fridge and without heating or hot water in winter I don’t think is a good idea is it . Most likely to get help I need to section myself (go crazy and they will take me to mental health hospital) can you imagine that I need to be that extreme to have A better life. I can going on writing these review for the next 8 years doesn’t going to make no difference on the outcome. I don’t know how this company is allowed to do so much damage to all of us and no body does anything about it, sometimes I wish I was dead this is how A2DOMINION make me feel !!

Complete and utter mess of a Company

Complete and utter mess of a company! I actually do not know how they are any sort of business! I’m seriously considering selling my property - I’m sure that would also be a painful process but one I have no choice to do as living here they are an utter shambles.

Year 1 - 45% increase in service charges which were miscalculated. It’s taken 9 months for a response from a complaint on this.
Year 2 - after sending a revised adjusted ‘correctly’ worked out service charges which of being £9 cheaper they then proceed to add an almost £1k service charge deficit to my account.

If I could give 0 stars I would scamming thieves is just the start. Issue still ongoing a year later - STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

Would give 0 rating if I could. They have no trouble reaching me quickly for any outstanding balance, but when it comes to works that need to be done - it is always the case of " let me check if this is actually with A2dominion" - even when the ceiling is leaking and multiple flats are impacted by it.
And this is not the first time. Horrible setup. The call centre people are polite but they dont have any information that actually helps us. They cannot share what they know, so overall horrible setup.
I will give an update on when/if they manage to fix the issue

Update - its 11th Feb 2026 and roof leak is still not fixed.
Lift has been out of order for better part of 2025 and the past 2 days. Residents left the apartment, vulnerable people moved out because food service staff couldnt climb 5 flights of stairs. No accountability or initiative from A2D so far.

Scamming Thives

Scamming Thives. Company should be shut with an immediate effect. Send an email 2 weeks ago on the back of their email aksing for more money and the fact that they ended the year with an account deficit. They are useless as a company mismanaging finances and every year ask for more and more money yet communal areas are filthy dirty and service is shockingly poor. Avoid at all cost.

Absolute shocking incompetent unprofessional company !!!!!! A2Dominion uses useless cowboys for repairs. So many delays, if they show up at all. I have had half a dozen 'no shows' for repairs. Left in my home unable to go out or know what to do. Messages to complaint officers go ignored. The whole company needs a rehaul. They do not care for their tenants at all. First reported works in July 2025. Now December and not completed. Utterly Disgraceful !

Shame there is no minus scale here as it would be -1m! They lie and cheat and fail their leaseholders and tenants on countless occasions. They charge services charges but do very little to justify their charges and communication and resolution is non existent! The new legislation on leaseholder companies like these cowboys cannot come soon enough! 4 months now since I made an inquiry to cut the branches of a tree which is overhanging on my car park space and destroying the paintwork on my vehicle with the constant debris falling onto it and the cost of constantly cleaning it not to mention the danger it poses for potential injury with the surrounding leaves particularly in wet weather. Two other inquiries in addition to changes remain outstanding now for 2 months despite initially being told I would get a response in 10 days. Absolutely the most appalling customer service experience I have experienced!

A2 Dominion is the WORST organisation, I have ever experienced. The alleged victimisation you experience if you dare complain to outside agencies, and in my opinion if you are ethnic, your a target, you should know your place and be grateful for a property that, has had recurring damp and mould for over 10 years, and you and your child have health issues, and they want to force you back there after a spray paint and no real repair, in my opinion. Also, shame on all those that support them, may you never have to fight for a suitable home, without the threat of damp, and praying that you don't have to wake up in the middle of the night because your son has asthma, and is unable to breathe, admitted into hospital because he needs oxygen, sleeplessness night, suffering from fatigue. They think it's all about staying in the decant property, how naive and detached they are, no compassion or humanity, shameless organisation, and heartless, robotic workers.

The way they band together and gate keep any options of you moving forward, usually dominated by those in positions of authority, a wall of silence, and a major whipping person. No customer care or understanding. If I won the lottery tomorrow I would NEVER purchase one of their properties, save your money, and run; But unfortunately, I'm stuck. They have no transparency when it comes to their allocation system, nor anything else for that matter. Yes, I'm angry but I could get a block of tenants who would agree with everything I have said, or worse. A2 you know it's a structural issue, as I am not the only one in that block that are or suffering from damp. It's about time we get together and contact the building company who built the block, to establish why the block went from initially being a private to social housing was it a default building??

A2 Dominion is the root of all EVIl. One star is too nice they deserve shutting down or being forced to be brought out of business.
From day one Lies to other professionals about completing work.
Victims of domestic violence and vulnerable adults and children have zero Equality in their policies and procedures.
Repairs are never completed, they send untrained cowboy builders who falsely report back!!
Mould and damp and other failures to all their properties are never documented correctly.
Housing officers attend without note pads and writing factual statements. Empty promises and the communication is non existent. The management is a disgrace to society. Everyone covers for each other.
Where are all the Governing bodies that should be looking at all the continuous failures to all residents??
3 years still challenging A2D endless letters from professionals wiped under the carpet.
To make a complaint it should be dealt with in 48 hours took a year for a response and another year of incompetence. Not resolved!
Fire Marshall’s deemed the property unsafe they chose to ignore the advice.
No fire safety in the whole building so many deaths will unfortunately happen.
I warned them prior someone was going to have an accident and until that happened the property was in disarray but the injury is life long. Took months to get the area fixed.
Overcharge all residents yet we must pay for cctv when they didn’t gain any consent from any tenant or new tenants.
Now the antisocial behavior has become ridiculous and they choose to ignore tenants daily. Tenants now have to reach out to MPs for help.
Make no mistake NEVER sign up to this housing association as you will end up with mental health issues, challenging repairs, injuries, even death!
A2D has a duty to protect and keep the well being of all tenants which unfortunately the profound failures are a massive breach and a SAFEGUARDING matter.
A2D will never take accountability for their failures and role to make your life misery.
A2D should be fined on all properties they own!
Empty promises full of lies to stay in business!
Audits should be required and files should be seen along with the many complaints to show how DISRESPECTFUL and UNLAWFUL the service is providing!

Gangster Housing - Tenants are treated with disrespect

- Tenants have endured ongoing issues, including chronic dampness, leaking faucets, and water seepage through ceilings, which have persisted for several years without resolution. The lack of attention to fundamental amenities, such as light fixtures, has further deteriorated the overall living conditions, creating an environment that is both uncomfortable and unsafe.

- Since 2009, residents have been anticipating the promised renovations of kitchens and bathrooms. Although a new kitchen was finally installed in 2024, the bathroom, which has been plagued by significant leaks, remains neglected. This ongoing issue continues to worsen the living conditions for tenants, leaving them in a state of frustration and discontent.

- Concerns have been raised regarding unlawful evictions, often carried out under the preteens of fraudulent documentation. Tenants frequently do not receive adequate notifications to collect their belongings, resulting in homes being ransacked for items considered sellable.

Furthermore, tenants experience harassment over late rent payments, despite consistently making payments through secure government channels. Unannounced visits by staff, often marked by disrespectful behaviour, further violate tenant rights and dignity, exacerbating an already challenging living situation.

Raised a repair request in Oct 2023 - still open as of Nov 2025

I would rate them as ZERO. a repair request in Oct 2023, despite numerous site visits, countless phone call and emails, the issue still remains (today is Nov 2025!). I cant believe A2 can still hold onto whatever licence they need to operate.

Service charge exploitation

Service charge exploitation. Yearly exceeds service charge expectation with terrible service on the extortionate amount being paid. They cannot provide a breakdown after months of asking and literally no response from anyone in the company after many emails. Terrible company
