Awful company to deal with. Constant promises of delivery but weeks later still not arrived. Had to cancel order as they have held up building work for too long now!

Terrible customer service, major delays and wrong product
Terrible customer service, overpromised and underdelivered was attempted (apparently) 8 times!!
every person we spoke to didn't have a clue about our order and couldn't give us a answer, I believe they would struggle to have a knees up in a brewery!
Update- I will explain why this review was left .... I have received 4 emails from you named 'A reminder to review Acupanel' so after your persistence I have now left you an honest review.
To clarify, when we first ordered your product you told us the lead time was 5 working days ! At that time If we knew we were being given false information, we wouldn't have bothered.
Each planned delivery date, (after not arriving) we called to ask where the delivery was, to be told it had been pushed back to the following week and so on, because you didnt have the stock. We ordered on 14/3 and received the panels on 17/4 nothing close to your 5 working days. Also to add insult to injury the delivery we received was the untreated panels with a pot of oil to treat them ourselves, when we actually paid for the finished panels - Just terrible service and 100% would not order again from 'ACUPANEL' or the associated 'The Wood Veneer Hub'

Hi Jason,
Whilst I understand your frustration at a delay in the delivery to you, and we will certainly look to learn from your feedback.
Your order was not paid for until the 23/03/23, so not the 14/03 as stated above.
There was a refund issued for the delay caused as we advised you of the delay and you agreed to wait for the panels.
When this delay was extended, we reached out and agreed to send the unfinished with oil to avoid further delay, this was again excepted, if you need to reach out to us at sales@thewoodveneerhub.co.uk, for further feedback feel free, we are always looking to improve our service and welcome the feedback.

Walnut acoustic panels

The panels are beautiful very happy…

However, poor communication and you have to wait for weeks for the actual panel to arrive, still have not received the order I put in five weeks ago, and I have to keep chasing them up for updates
I’m going to order another two but considering ordering from else where

My panel arrived with defects I have sent the photos through to yourselves and have sent the photos before and after opening the panel … you have offered me £19.99 refund but I declined that, you then offered me half price which I agreed too
When I attempt to complete the purchase it’s saying out of stock
I have emailed you a number of times and no one is getting back to me, which I find very frustrating … my previous review you stated if I have any concerns to contact you, no one has responded to the emails, I feel that I have to contact you via trust pilot

Excellent
Excellent. I had multiple samples from different companies that supply acoustic panels. The quality of the Acupanel was far superior to ALL of the others. The panels arrived packaged to prevent any damage and after my phone call my delivery was pushed forward to fit in with my joiner. I would say you do need a professional joiner to cut them to size. They look fantastic and the sound from the TV is now so much clearer. Very impressed with this company and product, well done.

Love these panels
Love these panels, perfect colour for our room. Easy to cut and install. They have been much admired
Only slight downside is we have a block of panelling a third of the way across the room and from certain angles you see the uneven edge where is backing is stapled

We're glad to hear you love the panels, and they were easy to install! If you want to hide the edge, you can use an end trim to cap this off, or using pliers, you can gently ease the pressure on the staples, to reduce the visible dip in the edges.

Love these panels on so easy to install
Love these panels on so easy to install. Purchased to do a bedroom makeover. Colour oiled finish walnut was a great match to our existing bedroom furniture. Bit of a hiccup with the delivery service not delivering on 2 days when they said they would so 2 days wasted having to stop in as they do not give an estimated time of delivery on day either, which was a a pain, hence 4 stars. All good in the end though.

Very happy
Very happy. Fast service, well packed and a very nice product. A few small marks on the wood finish (likely from handling / storage) but nothing major so no issues there. Overall very pleased and the panels look great inhaled.

Easy to install
Panels are very well made and easy to cut. I used them as part of a media wall and they look fantastic. I went for the acoustic contemporary walnut version. I did use their hard oil to start with but I ended up using danish oil which gave a better and quicker finish imo. Overall I Would highly recommend the panels

It's nice quality product but I would.not rate the soundproofing element of it very well and whether it actually does what it says as it's.not really made.any difference when put onto the wall.

We're glad you love the product! When installing the panels, if you want to optimise the sound absorption properties of them, we recommend installing them on batons, and using an acoustic insulation material between the batons, to improve this.
