Assingtonautos Avis

Fantastic service, car was collected within 24 hours of finding the quote, drive was friendly, no questions were left unanswered, money the next day. Such a quick experience

Was looking to scrap my vehicle, so I googled scrapping my car. Assington Autos popped up on my screen, with a website that said enter your reg for a valuation. It was that simple. I entered my reg, was given a value. All I had to do was click accept. No pressure, No Hassle, No back and forth or bartering with price. The next day they rang me to confirm and ask some very basic questions to do with the vehicle and arranged for collection. It was that simple. A day or so later I rang them back because I couldn’t find all the paperwork, not a problem. Told me what I needed to provide instead, in my case an ID like a driving licence and it was all sorted. The guy who came to collect the car, rang me when he was about 20 minutes away. He turned up sorted my ID and gave me all the details I needed to let the DVLA know about the change of ownership/scrapping of vehicle and it was done. Took 5 minutes on the day and about 10 minutes on the internet including follow up call. Honestly it was all done in about 15 minutes. Everyone I dealt with was super nice and friendly and nothing felt like to much trouble. Excellent service and will always be my go for scrapping vehicles in the future.

Fantastic service, communication was A1 by Rosa and Staff, and the staff member collecting the car was warm, friendly and helpful. And I received payment the day after the vehicle was collected. Could not ask for much more .

After being messed around by other scrap dealers I contacted Assington. The communication was great, they offered quick collection and the best price out of any others that I had contacted. They collected exactly when they said they would - the driver even rang on his way to let me know when he would arrive and did not even attempt to barter on price (apparantly like many others do). Would highly recommend

Excellent service. Offered me the best price for my vehicle, called to organise a collection date and took my details and provided information on next steps process. They collected on time, calling before arrival to confirm they were in their way. They had it loaded on their van super quick. I then had a message to confirm receipt of vehicle and cash was paid direct to bank account in less than 24 hours. Quite happy with the service provided. The only feedback I would give is the only difficulty I experienced was trying to call them to discuss the quote, constantly no answer. Had to wait for them to call me following my website quotation. Otherwise excellent! Thanks

Scrapped my car with assington autos, they were brilliant. Turned up when they said they would and were pleasant and helpful. Good job

As a 1st time user scrapping a car I was unsure of the procedure. Everything was explained via WhatsApp message.
Rosa was especially helpful on the phone. Collection driver arrived promptly as arranged and picked up car efficiently in no time. All in all, totally stress free experience. Highly recommended.

I have been trying for two days now to contact them for a pick up but no one will answer the phone it just keeps on ringing constantly left voicemail on out of hours phone and have emailed them yes it is a good price but that doesn't mean they have to ignore their phones at there call centre a good price doesn't mean a good company I have eventually got through and spoken to a young lady called rosa and she was very polite and apologetic and even got me a consarlation for my pick up money in my account the next day so overall I may have jumped the gun as keep on trying and you will eventually get through so not quite a 5 star only because the problem with contacting them 👍

Used Assington Autos for the first time..all I can say is I wished I heard about them sooner.. Takes a while to get through on phone but trust me.. stick with it because I now think there the best around 👍 Very Polite very helpful and quick recovery and money next day in your Account…What more you want.!!
Don’t go anywhere else ring Assington.
