Extremely Disappointed With ATOL Protection – Delays, Excuses, and Unfair Payout
I am extremely disappointed with the way ATOL Protection has handled my claim. Despite providing full medical certificates and answering every question truthfully, they are now offering me only 60% of my booking amount.
What’s even more frustrating is their constant delaying tactics. They repeatedly asked for information I had already submitted, dragging the process out for nearly three months. They insisted on a medical certificate that itself took two months to obtain—and now they’re using that delay against me, claiming I should have informed them earlier.
The most unbelievable part? Their own delays are now being used as the reason for the underwriter to reject the full claim. This feels extremely unfair and unreasonable.
I expected a simple, honest process, especially during a difficult medical situation. Instead, I got excuses, red tape, and only a partial payout. Very disappointed and would not recommend relying on ATOL Protection based on this experience.
