Hi John, thanks for your feedback and I’m sorry we missed the date you requested, especially as this was for a birthday.
For Free Standard Delivery, the date selected at checkout is a preferred delivery date only. We always aim to deliver as close as possible, however exact delivery dates aren’t guaranteed on standard shipping (for a tighter delivery window, Express Post or Same Day delivery in Melbourne metro is the better option).
I hope the gift was otherwise enjoyed by Vinod.
