I just want to throw my two cents in on this.

I just purchased an Autel MP808S-TS.

So just to be clear, these are from China, sold from (mostly, if it says so in the listing) UK warehouses. But these all come from China anyway, so it's not a clone, its not a fake. It's technically a grey import.

Mine came with UK plugs and UK markings throughout, language default to English. I made sure I purchased a "Global" IP location unlocked version.

So in case you were unaware of what a grey import is. Basically your cutting out the middle man. By bypassing the European distributors, support and resellers. You're saving a lot of money on a genuine item, but be aware, you will not receive support from Autel Europe. However Autelstore (China) have been exceptional in supporting me with this scanner. With hardware, refunding, technical support, and membership issues. I have no complaints.

So, like I said in the title, you have to be vigilant and read all the details under the device you are looking to buy. I made a mistake in my first order.

I initially bought an MP808S-TS and then had to cancel it and buy a MP808S-TS... the difference, one was running Android 4.4 on a slow processor, the other, Android 11 on a faster processor. I think the price difference was around £30 or so.

So pay attention to the details in the specs, they're all accurate and unique to the individual listing. Make sure you get a "global" or IP unlocked version, this is clearly indicated. This will avoid registration and membership issues.

The device I received registered and updated with no issues at all, very straightforward. The only snag I had, was that my membership with Autel showed expiration after one year. The listing said two years free updates. I messaged Autelstore.co.uk about this and they got back to me within a day, asking for the serial number on my scanner, they sorted the membership issue the following day. Now my expiration shows 2025. Perfect.

I was nervous going with Autelstore.co.uk at first, because I know you can't save this much money on something like this without a big catch somewhere. But from the scanner itself, to the pre sale and after sale service received from Autelstore.co.uk, I have absolutely no regrets, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, if you have a suitable appetite for risk.

My refund for the first scanner was processed immediately. I asked to cancel the order 45 mins after placing it, when I realised my mistake. I think they have a 5 hour cut off on cancellations. If you read the terms, it is clear that if you need to send anything back to them, it will be to China. So it pays to do your research before buying.

I apologise this was such a long review, I just think these companies are getting some bad press, when I have nothing but good things to say. Hopefully it has answered some questions for anyone like me who is thinking about buying a decent scanner.

Purchased AL619 diagnostic tool which according to the website should work with Mercedes. Despite Sprinter van being on the tool set-up menu, the tool would not read the ABS fault codes. I emailed Autelstore but they wouldn't confirm if the scanner was faulty and that my Sprinter van should definitely be compatible. I asked the specific question multiple times but they would not respond so I was forced to send the tool back and ask for a refund. They withheld 10% of the £79 purchase price for "restocking" and would not cover the return postage costs. I managed to get Paypal to sort out the withheld 10% but I am still down on the postage costs and don't know whether the item was faulty or just didn't cover my Sprinter van despite being advertised as such. i still need a tool to read the fault codes but I wouldn't buy from these people again. After the withheld 10% was refunded I received an odd email from their customer service saying "I do really be shame on you
Never buy from us, I will set your details in our blacklist".

Great service, Great product and great value.
1. Firstly, I am a genuine UK buyer and this is a genuine review of my experience, to hopefully inspire confidence in anyone worried about ordering from the Autelstore.co.uk.
2. I ordered my MK808 scan tool at 10pm Saturday evening, and it was delivered to me at 10am Tuesday morning, so VERY fast shipping especially taking into account it was ordered at the weekend.
3. I received order confirmation detail emails within minutes of placing the order, and they have very good contact information and "Chat" function on the website.
4. Items which are clearly marked as "Shipped from the UK" are shipped free of charge from the UK and no other fees or duties are payable.
5. This is a legitimate business/website and in no way a scam. Yes, Autelstore.co.uk is a China based business, which is made quite clear if you read the information provided. They do not try to hide this fact, and the conditions of sale and return are transparent.
Buyers, giving negative reviews for the items being "grey" imports, or not compatible with UK vehicles are not fair. The scanners are genuine Autel manufactured scanners and have the same software and functionality regardless where the are purchased from. (NOTE: No scanner regardless cost, manufacturer or origin, will ever cover every vehicle make/model and/or every function. Check before you buy!
6. I registered and activated my MK808 on the manufacturers website "pro.autel.com", without any issues, and the scanner connects and receives updates by WIFI directly on the device.
7. From my experience....Its 5 stars.
8. It is up to the individual to make an informed decision on where to buy from. I paid nearly 50% less buying form this supplier (I paid just £315). The same/equivalent 808 model from the authorised UK distributor (Karnetic) Autel.UK will cost £495+VAT = £594).
Hopefully this review will help others in deciding to buy from this seller, and have confidence that they will receive a genuine device, with fast deliver from within the UK.
However, If you want UK based warranty and support you will pay double the price from the authorised UK dealer, its that simple.
I was fully aware of the terms of sale and more than happy with the product, service and 50% saving from Autelstore.co.uk.
The MK808 is a superb scanner at a bargain price. The MK808 is a huge improvement in capabilities (over my SnapOn scanner), and the new 2023 version has android 11 operating system, and now includes 38 service functions, Hot tests and bi-directional active testing.
I have already diagnosed a cracked tone wheel on my wife's 2016 Hyundai Tucson with the live data graphing/recording function of the 4 wheel speed sensors, saving me a lot of time/money. Almost paid for itself on its first use.
PS.I am a (retired early) automotive engineer with 40+ years experience in diagnostic techniques, and the MK808 is an absolute bargain for home/small workshop use. Just get one, you won't be disappointed!

Gray imports possibly fake cloned devices as they dont do nearly half the functions service hot funcions advertised no warranty or uk support and they will never refund in full if its not as described or faulty very rude and offensive customer services refuse to issue any refund or return label avoid the temptation of a cheap scan tool its a scam!

I bought Autel maxi ap200 recently. The description on their website says this device works with a BMW car but when I received it I found out that the scanner not working with my BMW g31. Contacted the seller they asked for some proof, then sent all the evidence of that and they agreed that this item is not working as it should. When I asked for a refund of my money back they refused to cover return postage.
Be aware of this seller they send you not working item and asking to return it at your expense
AVOID at all costs!!!
