I discovered my car had been hit on the left hand side over the wheel arch. I have no idea when this happened as I had been out and about all weekend. I telephoned my insurance company who then gave my the number of their perferred repairer. AUTOTEC OF READING
A completely painless procedure from start to finish. Starting from the knowledgable, helpful, professional and extremely pleasant Customer Service Department. The lovely Daniella and Kerry just took control of what was going to happen. I had no worries as to what was going to happen.
They telephoned me after a few days to inform me what day they believe the car to be ready for collection. I also had updates in the following days.
My car was repaired ahead of schedule and looked perfect plus the repair is guaranteed for 5 years. This is the lovely touch, it was handed back shiny after being cleaned.

**Poor Service and Management**
I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with AutoTech in High Wycombe. After being involved in my first car accident, Direct Line Insurance forced me to have my vehicle repaired at this workshop. This decision turned out to be a huge mistake.
First, despite being told that the repair process would take a couple of weeks, I waited for seven weeks. When I finally collected my vehicle by myself on 15th July, the issues were glaring: the overall service was shockingly poor. After finally receiving my car, I noticed several errors and issues with the repair work. However, due to a pre-booked holiday, I couldn't address these immediately. Upon my return, I had to send my car back to AutoTech on 30th July to rectify these issues. As of today, 6th August, I am still waiting for my car. I was informed that some parts are still awaited, and the vehicle will be ready by the end of the week. This delay is unacceptable, especially since my car is electric, and I was given a manual petrol car as a temporary replacement.
The lack of management oversight and the blatant disregard for customer time and peace of mind are truly disappointing. AutoTech's handling of the situation has been nothing short of frustrating and disheartening.
1. **Misaligned Boot Door**: The boot door was not properly fitted, putting significant pressure on the electric lock and preventing it from securing in place.
2. **Missing Plastic Pins**: The plastic pins under the rear bumper were not installed, causing an unpleasant noise and making driving unsafe, as the bumper could come off during movement.
3. **Unauthorised Licence Plate Replacement**: AutoTech replaced my original licence plate with a Toyota-branded one without my consent, purely for advertising purposes. My original plate was completely intact and did not need replacing.
Additionally, I strongly advise against using AutoTech for any vehicle repairs. Their poor service, long delays, and unprofessional Technicians make them a highly unreliable choice.
