Ayrton are very professional, very courteous and do what they say they will do.

We’ve just had all our windows refitted. Had previously used another company for one window. The difference is night and day. Ayrton Bespoke were 10 out of 10 in terms of quality, professionalism, customer service and flexibility. Would highly recommend them over other companies we spoke to and used. Liam, Bruno, Lucas and the rest were brilliant.

This company should get 5 stars. Their product is top quality. We had the salesman round to give us a quote in October. He told us it would be 12 weeks from our acceptance of their quote to installation. He told us they should be in for Christmas. We accepted their quote (not the cheapest quote we had by any stretch). I had to chase and chase. No one ever seemed to call me. The installation date was put off and put off until mid Feb. The sales guy also told us the doors would be installed in one day. He was very specific about this. The actual installation went on for 3 weeks. If we had been told in October that the doors would be finished in March we would not have gone with Ayrton. The doors however are beautiful so I am very happy with the finished result. The sales and customer service need to up their game though!

Now our windows and doors have been installed, my husband and I would like to acknowledge the work carried out by Darko and Lucas and we were impressed how well they managed the work.
Darko and Lucas have carried out the work to our greatest satisfaction. Throughout, they were professional and considerate. They were courteous, polite, friendly, respectful of our property and maintaining cleanliness as they worked.
It was a great experience and their quality of workmanship was excellent.

We spent a lot of time looking for a company to install new windows at the front of our house. Wooden double-glazed sash, which, as we are a conservation area, we wanted to fit in with the rest of the house. We also wanted the solution to be as sustainable as possible, in terms of wood used and distance traveled.
Ayrton met all our requirements, and the new windows are exactly what we wanted. In addition, every person we spoke to or met in the company listened to what we needed, was courteous, sympathetic and helpful. The fitters even charmed our neighbours!
So we would definitely recommend them.

I have used Ayrton Bespoke for some french doors which needed updating a few years ago & I was very happy. I needed to get my some front windows done on my property as I was always happy with quality of the work that Ayrton provided. I was having 2 sets of front windows installed & the workers/builders who came to do the job were efficient, on time & very professional & gave me some tips on how to look after the finished product. They also completed the job in the timeframe as promised & left my property in perfect condition without no damage or any mess. As a returning customer to Ayrton, I am very happy with my windows & will use them again for any future work I need. I would also like to thank the team especially Olivia, Liam, Calese, Bartek & the other colleagues for their support & help.

We engaged Ayrton to replace the front door, all windows and shutters. They were delayed by over a month in starting. The windows were eventually fitted, however the shutters were the wrong colour in the majority of the rooms except for the lounge where it was not measured correctly with the result the wrong size was delivered and has been left in our lounge. We have had a few calls with Liam at Ayrton since the fitters had completed their work and were promised an email outlining how and when the work would be rectified, however nothing has been received with the last call being on Friday, 10 November. They were last on site mid October. It has been over a month and all of our attempts to get a solution has been met with radio silence from Liam and the staff at Ayrton. We had to pay a 65% deposit and half the work has been completed. I'll update this review once we have explored other avenues to resolve the matter.
No response received as of April 2025.

We chose Ayrton to replace old upvc front door, patio doors, kitchen door and window. We are so happy with the quality and style of the new timber products. They look beautiful, are very well made, secure and sound proof. We had to wait a few months from placing the order to installation - but it was worth it. Installation was estimated at 7 days but took just 5. Service has been great throughout the ordering and design process. Leo and his team were very professional, courteous, tidy and had amazing attention to detail during the installation. When we had a slight hiccup at the last, they quickly came up with solutions. They were a pleasure to have around and we almost missed them when they’d finished! We’re now thinking of asking Ayrton to quote for our upstairs windows.

The fitters were fantastic
However the door itself is not to spec.
Specifically it should be a 1930s door with simple ovolo mouldings - yet it has Victorian style raised and fielded panels.

Worse the lock is too high ( I cannot open it) at over 1.5m and next to the glazing. So not secure.

We still await a response re a replacement door

Excellent quality new front door. Fitters were efficient, polite and very careful to minimise and clear up any mess. Expensive, but well worth it.

We commissioned Ayrton to replace our house's upstairs garden-facing windows. We wanted good wooden windows that would replicate the old ones, especially important to us as the property has been in our family for three generations. We were more than happy with the way the job was done and indeed the way the whole project ran from start to finish. The windows are lovely. Everyone including the house’s former owners (my parents) are very impressed!

** Please read all the way to the bottom for updates. The experience below is genuine but it should be noted that the company has been responsive and I am satisfied with the quality of both the product and installation.

My Ayrton windows and doors are getting old and are rotting in places and I have been trying for 14 MONTHS to get them replaced (at my cost; they are past guarantee and I am happy to pay for new replacements)
They came out to measure, never followed up afterwards and ignored weekly emails from me requesting next steps for months. When I final phoned and spoke with the managing director he apologised and promised to get the estimate to me right away. But, by then they couldn’t find the measurements they had taken and had to come out again. I got the estimate this time and gave them a deposit that same day (7 months ago!) and then I didn’t hear from them again for another 5 months. Finally, they called to give me an installation date but then they cancelled the day before the appointment. We rescheduled and, again, they cancelled the day before. They finally came today, 14 months after beginning the process, but the replacement French door I have waited for for so long was built incorrectly so the fitter could not install it! (Hinges in the wrong place, vent in the wrong place and the wrong beading so it doesn’t match the other doors!)
I have had enough and now intend to go to an alternate company. I emailed the managing director of Ayrton right away asking for a refund of my deposit but he has not responded. Hopefully, he isn’t blanking me again and was just busy this afternoon.
Bottom line: This company says they provide after service but you would be wise not to believe it. I would advise anyone considering Ayrton to go to a more professional company - it’s just not worth the hassle to deal with them.
UPDATE (27/10/23): since posting this review the managing director, fitter and head of operations have visited to review the job. Together they came up with a plan which involves changing all the beading on my 3 French doors and reordering and replacing the rotting door by mid Jan 2024. I have agreed to this plan as I doubt I would get a custom door from another company any faster at this point. Also, they do now seem committed to getting my job done. I am somewhat hopeful…
UPDATE (12 Feb 2024): new door went in today. A little late as mid Jan was agreed but its in, it works and it looks great so I’m satisfied.

I had a really good experience with Ayrton. They have a nice selection of windows and fittings. They were efficient, finishing when they promised. They had a bit of a slow start but made it up by working over the weekend. I had a couple of small issues post fittings and they came back promptly to deal with them. I would definitely recommend them.

We had all our sash windows replaced as the old ones were rotten and single glazed. Leo and his team were careful, methodical and did an amazing job. They even managed to rebuild the frames for the old shutters so that they would fit the new windows. I can’t recommend them enough and we are very much enjoying the beautiful new windows, sound proofing and increased heat efficiency!

We bought Ayrton window last year that took a year to install. One of the casement windows that has been fitted leaks every time it rains and we still have unfinished minor works to complete. Now July -somebody came along put tape around our new window to stop the leak-no fixes to minor works or correspondence on any of the issues. The window does not leak now as the tape works-should have kept our old windows as they were better quality.
Ayrton have sorted a number of the issues and provided assurances on remaining -also helped with an additional issue. Also had MD respond to us. Has taken time but have responded

Well satisfied with Ayrton Bespoke. The installation process went really well. On the first morning, the team arrived early: the old front door and surround were taken away and any mess speedily vacuumed, and the new door and surround installed without incident. They returned the following day to finish off, paint etc and instructed us regarding how to use the locks, and were able to depart by lunchtime as promised. Throughout the team were courteous and respectful, and the finished door is a great adornment to the house, besides offering more security and insulation. My only suggestion for improvement would be that Ayrton provide a progress update during the long lead-in time. At the time of ordering we were advised that installation would be in about sixteen weeks, when I had heard nothing by that time, e-mailed - received no reply. In fairness to Ayrton, when I contacted them a week later they sprang into action and the work was arranged for a fortnight later.

Customer service provided by Ayrton is horrendous. I chose them based on reference sites in my area, despite their being considerably more expensive than other quotes. I was given a long lead time to receive the windows, but decided that I would go ahead anyway as I expected a quality product/service given the prices.

Sadly delivery of the product went from and estimated 14 - 16 weeks, to 25 weeks. There were no updates from Ayrton at all until I called to find out what was going on.

Once they eventually arrived, the installation team were great. Efficient, good at what they did and very tidy. Sadly, they were not able to finish the job as the sills in one of the rooms were the wrong size. 2 months on and I am still waiting for them to come and finish. My bedroom is a mess, exposed brick and expanding foam on show and I keep being fobbed off by Ayrton. I should point out that they demand full payment in order to carry out the install, so I have no leverage and hence they are constantly fobbing me off. I am now at the point where I am going to seek legal advice.

I do not recommend this Company

We have now completed the second phase of replacing all of our windows via Ayrton and are delighted with the outcome. The most recent work has been to replace a bay window and smaller window on the first floor. Everything went like clockwork and from the minute Josh arrived with his team we felt in very good hands. He kept us informed, dealt with any queries, including checking a couple of issues with our front door which was installed last year. All was good and we had complete confidence. As a result our windows not only look great but their installation has made a significant impact on how we use the house. Its warmer, quieter and the windows and shutters make us the envy of the street! Thank you to the whole team, to Josh and Nicola (who ran the operation from the office and updated us) in particular who have been great. Thanks also to MD Liam for his personal touch…here’s looking forward to a similar experience on phases 3 and 4

I found Ayrton a good company to deal with - friendly customer service, beautiful windows and an excellent professional team of installers. The process is neither cheap nor quick - it took over 6 months between paying 50% deposit and the windows being installed and once the date was confirmed we had to pay full amount before installation. This so far has proved worth it in the treatment and quality of the finished product. We hope to enjoy for many years to come. I would not hesitate to recommend them. ET
