I’ve been going to beamish for years…
I’ve been going to beamish for years and we love it however on this trip the staff at the fairground where kids are more likely to be where very rude to the kids and so uncalled for if there going to be working where kids are and a lot of passing people daily they need to be more educated on manners and customer service not just once but numerous times she was rude not sure we will be back after this !

Extortionate gift shop
Only one complaint here and that was the extortionate prices in the gift shops ie hollow chocolate ladybird less than 50grms in weight £2 50 ,three school buses were in whilst I was there with children under 10, couldn't Beamish do the decent thing and offer a pound stall for children. Also I purchased a bag of broken biscuits which was a bag of biscuits within a bag to make it appear bigger.

Average at best.
I can remember visiting Beamish as a child roughly 40 years ago and there seemed to be more attractions then , average at best , walked out of pie shop service was abysmal . Have just bought a family annual pass so no doubt be visiting again if nothing better to do.

They provide a unique and brilliant …
They provide a unique and brilliant experience. Very impressed with accessibility for pushchairs and wheelchair users. Staff always friendly and very professional. We seem to find something new each time. Great value for money. Could not recommend more highly.

Very overrated
Full of kids running around out of control all over the place. There are very long queues in busy times to see the different attractions and the queues for the buses and trams are even longer. The staff are very unhelpful. I would not visit again and would not recommend it at all. Although the entrance fee allows a years access it is very expensive unless you are prepared to travel miles and miles or live close by. The car park is badly laid out and it is a long walk to the entrance. All in all a bad experience, go to the Black Country Museum instead!
