Bensons For Beds - Charlton Avis 

Recently bought an ottoman bed frame from the Charlton store, Wendy was very helpful and informative. Really happy with our purchase. Also the delivery team were great, very efficient - unable to read the handwriting for the names but I think it may have been Rozy & Emanuel.

The sales lady was very helpful and helpful.

Ordered Aug 24. Correct bedframe arrived promptly. Wrong mattress arrived with it. (An unintended upgrade but sadly extra firm) This was picked up for free and changed to the correct one (Rated medium). Sadly this mattress does not match the quality and feel of that model displayed and tested in the Charlton shop as it clearly sags far more at the edges. It was advertised as half price at £400 but is clearly worth only "half the very inflated full price tag" The bed frame is good. Overall, not sure I would buy another product from them. The customer service responsiveness is otherwise reasonable and the given delivery dates were kept.

Wendy was brilliant in helping my elderly parents choose their new bed, very informative and knowledgeable about the products.
Would highly recommend Wendy for customer service.
Currently awaiting the bed to arrive so cannot yet review the product.

If I could have given more than 5 stars I would’ve. I went to the one in Charlton & the lovely lady Wendy was amazing! Nothing was too much even when I had changed my mind a hundred times, she was patient & showed me all the different options for my price range. I was in there for a good few hours & it was coming up to when they were near to closing & I never felt rushed or anything. Thank you Wendy

I went into the Charlton store to browse the bedframes and mattresses again with no intention of making a purchase yet. This is my first time looking at bedroom furniture and it was very difficult for me to make up my mind given the variety of available options. Tyrone noticed that I was a bit lost and offered to help. He was amazing - he encouraged me to try out the mattresses, answered all my questions, listened to my concerns, and explained the available options while also sharing his personal experience. I had a great experience overall and ended up selecting a full set and paying the deposit.

We liked the fact we were left to browse. The young lady was very informative and helpful and was on hand for any questions.

I recently purchased a mattress, bed frame, and headboard, and Tyrone was instrumental in helping me make the right choice. From the moment I walked into the store, his expertise and professional demeanor put me at ease. Tyrone took the time to understand me and my partners preferences and needs, guiding me through the various options without ever being pushy.

He was incredibly knowledgeable about different mattress types, firmness levels, and how each option would suit our sleeping habits. And as we already thought we had chosen the ‘right’ mattress, Tyrone saved us from buying one that we’d potentially regret in months to come.
Michael provided tips on how to maintain the mattress for longevity, which I hadn’t even considered before.

When it came to selecting the headboard and bed frame, Tyrone helped us to see the scaled of the headboard compared to us to get a feel for the right height to go with and also found us a frame that had more storage with having to have slats (slats were something we really didn’t want).

What I appreciated most was how patient he was throughout the entire process, answering all our questions and making sure we felt confident with our decision.

Thanks Tyrone and Michael, we can’t wait for our first nights sleep!

Update: everything was delivered today by Jack and Veiga, kept me informed throughout the day (I was regularly informed by Bensons through email and text since ordering), great service with Bensons, cannot fault anything with their customer service and would recommend to anyone looking to go there!

Lots of selection and reasonably priced. The staff member I spoke to was very helpful, professional and gave me plenty of useful handy tips when buying my bed. I love that you can spread the cost over 12 months with purchases over £500 and don't pay any interest.

Wendy was so super helpful! It was so quick and easy to get a mattress from Bensons for Beds. Wendy at the Charlton branch was so lovely and kind. The mattress we chose was great quality and worth the money.
