Firstly Jordan was very helpful and knowledgeable about the mattresses we were after. He gave us time to browse but was available when we wanted to ask any questions. Ordering was simple too. Can't fault delivery either. We were updated by email, then phone on the day. Very quick and efficient delivery team. Would definitely recommend Bensons for Beds.

Experience started in store in Mansfield where I spoke to Emma about the sort of bed I was looking for and the dimensions that would fit that space. Emma sorted me a quote and once I had decided to go ahead I arranged this over the phone. Delivery was arranged for a day that worked well for me, it arrived within the time slot specified (it was great to get a narrow 2 hour window) and the bed itself was nice and easy to put together. My daughter is very happy with her new bed

The Staff at the store in Mansfield are brillent. Id been looking for a new bed, and found one I liked, however it went off sale, before I decided to buy it, so went up in price. The staff told me it will go back sale at some point and took my number. About a month later I got a call, it was back on sale again.
They so friendly and none pushy, which is what I like. Take the time to explain everything then leave to to wander round. What more can you ask..

I am a Pensioner delivery men did not remove packaging I had to get someone to do this and set bed up holes for headboard did not line up.properly l thought service could be better when purchasing a expensive bed

Unhappy that first delivery cancelled with less than 24 hour notice. They refused to deliver outside of weekdays even though they cancelled the weekday delivery and were a little rude regarding this. I have fixed holidays and was unable to “take the day off”to accommodate their cancellation. Otherwise mattress and sales staff excellent in Mansfield.

Good bed, good price, staff good.Only problem was I couldn't collect -it had to be delivered and I had to pay £40!

The young guy who served me, he was impeccable, he had long dark hair. He did his very best to get me the best deal as i was on a limited budget, as i am a pensioner, I could not afford assembly, I'm sure I can find someone to do this, or I will try myself. Many thanks, I'm sorry I had forgotten his name.

From the friendly and helpful but expert advice from the sales person, Gail was brilliant.
Then the updates when then delivery was arranged.
The two chaps who made the delivery were the best ever. They told us that we had bought one of the best mattresses. Having worked in sales ourselves, we told them that they were a great asset to the company. It was also the hottest day of the year to date.
Our experience was brilliant.

It seems like a recurring trend with this company after reading a few reviews prior to writing this one. I have bought a mattress and bed from them in the past with no issues hence I decided to go back a second time. I paid fully for a mattress, pillows etc and the 20% cancellation was never explained to me.

Am a service man and sometimes I deploy for months or last minute postings abroad which comes with very little notice. I tried to cancel my order since I received new deployment orders 7 days after the purchase and I was told I need to pay £522 and apparently it's company policy which was never explained when I made the purchase. 7 days seems like a very odd time hence why they go the extra mile not to tell customers when they purchase.

They offered to keep the mattress for as long as I wish but I don't know how long I'll be gone for , could be well over a year and there is no way I'll let them keep my money for that long without the product.

Please avoid this company, that is a very nasty sales tactic and it feels like a cash grab !! I will never buy anything from them ever again even if the items are reduced to zero !!!

Edit: they seem to have responded with " we will make sure this doesn't happen next time"... That doesn't remedy my situation you thieves !!!

Gail at the Mansfield branch was fantastic, she had wonderful knowledge as well as being friendly and approachable. She was wonderful and understanding with our 2 young children, which allowed us to properly look at mattresses.
We are very pleased with our purchases and the customer service.
