The only thing they didn’t tell me about the new mattress is how heavy it is to change, my old mattress I couldn’t change the linning myself now I need help it so heavy. Advice to anyone buying a new mattress is t lift it first then lay on it

I had a problem with the mattress: it was replaced and delivery of the new mattress was prompt. The delivery men were both very friendly and efficient.

Staff were very helpful
When we went into the store the staff were very helpful, our daughter isn’t great at climbing but wanted a mid sleeper as her new bed, the staff member came with us and took the do not climb sign down so that she could try it out and we could see if this would be suitable for her. Turns out it was great and we have one happy girl.

Avoid - broken unfixed beds, that they are not interested in sorting out.
Avoid.
I ordered a bed on 28th Nov 2025, it arrived / was assembled broken draw. base by Bensons subcontract P2P. P2P finally sent out men to repair it on 29th Jan, who were late, in a hurry and were more interested in the time then fixing the bed draw. P2P say that the bed needs a whole use base and to contact Bensons, Bensons say to contact P2P and neither companies care as soon as they have your money.
I am 80 years old and registered disabled and it feels as if these 2 companies believe that they can take thousands of pounds and not sort out a broken bed and just fob me off by telling me to talk to the other one.

Ishry at Reading Forbury
We visited the branch in Reading Forbury and was served by Ishry. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He helped us narrow down what type of mattress that would suit our needs and the first mattress he recommended, we ending up buying as we loved it so much. The whole process was stress free and easy!

Relatively good service
The different number of mattresses to try out in store was great and the sales person was helpful. The mattress arrived as booked with regular updates before delivery. The 3-man delivery team were excellent - professional, very quick and courteous. The mattress is very comfortable. Would have given 5*s if the Sales Person hadn't tried to add maintenance and cleaning packages onto the total cost citing I was getting a discount already (which I was due to Xmas sale). Unnecessary tactic to get more commission which spoilt the whole experience as had to be quite assertive to get them removed.
