Simply good service
In May 2025, I bought a mattress from the Bensons at Reading Link Retail Park, having bought beds from there a few years ago. The same store manager - Mohammad - has been there for years. To me, he exemplifies a good salesman - highly informative without being pushy in any way. Recommended.

Thank you Reading (Rose Kiln Lane Store) Bensons For Beds
We were in need of a particular mattress but also needed a really quick delivery, due to an imminent operation. Mohammad and Rita went above and beyond to identify which mattress would be suitable and also persevering with identifying the quickest delivery possible. They gave outstanding Customer Service and I would 100% use that store again. Thank you both for your empathy and patience!

Mattress and sofa bed purchases
We chose the mattress we wished to purchase and were very impressed with Rita who took our order. She was very knowledgeable about the products in-store explaining options available e.g. care plans, guarantee, promotions and delivery. We also looked at a sofa/bed, with Rita, returning 2 days later to place an order. The orders were linked so that delivery will be on the same day. All in all a very good experience and excellent service.

Excellent lady called Rita who gave us advice and was really knowledgeable when it came to choosing a mattress. She made the whole process of buying a bed frame and mattress very easy.

Our initial order was for 2 beds
Our initial order was for 2 beds. One did not fit up our staircase despite the delivery drivers trying every way they could. We returned to the store to talk about a Replacement and the staff could not be more helpful. They found a bed that had the required measurements and it is on track for delivery soon. Thank you

I visited the Bensons Reading link a couple of days ago and was very impressed. The customer assistant (Sami) was helpful and provided me with all the information I needed. I felt welcome and would definitely recommend for others to visit the store.

I think what made this a 5 star was Ambika
I think what made this a 5 star experience was Ambika in the Reading (Rose Kiln) store. She was very patient as we tried so many mattresses and very knowledgeable. In the end the mattress we chosen wasn't quite right and so using the 40 Night Guarantee we went back and Ambika helped us again and there was no fuss or concern and helped us through the process. This was an easy and pleasant experience.

Excellent sales assistant
Muhammed ,the sales assistant , was very helpful. His understanding of the how some people suffer with pain was reassuring and because of his knowledge of the mattresses he sells he was able to advise us . It was much very much appreciated.

My new mattress
Pleased with the speed of the delivery time and the discounts available.
What I didn't like, was the hard sell that I kept requesting was halted. If I wasn't in the mood to buy the product I was getting the discount I'd expected for a bank holiday I'd have walked straight out. But it was a headache enducing experience, not a pleasant one. She knew her stock and in fairness did recommend the one I was interested in from online.

Excellent Customer service
We have purchased 4 x different mattresses and 2 x bed frames for our house move and Afzaal from Rose Kiln Lane, Reading branch made the shopping process a breeze by explaining the pros and cons of all items in detail. We were provided recommendations which really suited to our needs and helped us finalising on both mattresses and bed types which generally means getting into a rabbit hole due to the amount of options available. Still waiting for the items to be delivered and will update the review accordingly but service received so far has been worth a mention.
