Bensons For Beds - Uddingston650 Avis 

Needed a new bed base and went to the Uddingston store. Had a look at the base I had seen online and was then approached by a member of staff (Maureen) who discussed what I was looking for and showed me the type of bases I was interested in. She directed me to a suitable base which was a bit cheaper than the one I had been thinking about. Since it didnt seem to be any different I agreed to the purchase. Got what I wanted and saved a few quid. The ordering process was done with a good bit of chat making me feel that the staff cared that I was happy with the experience. All of the T&Cs were explained to me and a suitable date was arranged. The follow up has been excellent and happy to give a review.

I recently visited Bensons for Beds in Uddingston and was really impressed with the service. I ordered a vegan mattress and cooling pillows, and while I haven’t received the items yet, I wanted to highlight the excellent in-store experience.

Lynn, the sales associate, was absolutely fantastic — very informative, friendly, and helpful. She took the time to explain all the options clearly and made the whole process feel relaxed and straightforward.

Looking forward to receiving my order and based on the service alone, I’d definitely recommend.

Rebecca was simply amazing. Very attentive and patient from the time I got into the shop. Her knowledge regarding what I was looking for was exceptional and I’m completely happy with my purchase.

Excellent from start to finish!

From the moment we entered the store we were given a warm welcome by the staff. We had already looked on the website so knew exactly which bed we wanted to look at; both Lyn and Jean were fantastic, answered all our questions and demonstrated how the lights and electrics on the gaming bed worked.
Ended up with a great deal on the display model and matching bedside table, and even when I thought the table electrics weren’t working, the customer service team were excellent and immediately offered a replacement.
Would highly recommend bensons to anyone looking for a new bed!

After a short browse my Mum and I were approached by Jean asking if we needed help. I showed her the photo I’d taken of the label from my old mattress as I wanted similar and immediately she knew where to guide me. Literally the first mattress she showed me that she said was the closest match was perfect. She was friendly, knowledgeable and just absolutely lovely. She made the whole experience pleasant quick and easy. Credit to the store.

Both workers Heather and other lady were really helpful in finding comfortable mattress frame and headboard give them top marks looking forward to a good night's 😴

Had a great experience, Jean encouraged us to try lots of mattresses we couldn’t decide but time was not a problem , got beds, mattresses, headboards and pillows also protectors a one stop shop.

Even though our original order did not meet our expectation the service we received from your after sales team was excellent and our new mattress is absolutely brilliant. Many thanks to Sandra at Uddingston store and also the young man at customer services who handled our complaint ,finally a thank you to the service engineer who came to inspect our complaint . First class service all round well done Benson's.

Online order process was easy and then ongoing reminders and updates on the status were great communication ensuring clarity on what to expect when. The delivery was exactly when stated, with calls made in advance on the prior day and also an hour prior to expected arrival. The bed was assembled in the room required with all packaging then removed.

Linda, (Shop Manager) was so very helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and she had me lying on loads of beds before finally making my mind up. Top class service.

Friendly abd knowledgeable sales assistant

Firstly the review would be 0 if it was allowed. Purchased a bed frame and mattress late December for agreed delivery late March for moving into a new home. This was crucial as we only intended to furnish one room so the date was non negotiable. On the move in date no bed arrived, called to see when it was coming as we had received no communication about delivery time only to be told that it was not coming until 22/4 (due to a computer processing error when we changed the date from a feb to March delivery). Only options provided was to wait - when I asked about cancelling as not happy with new date was told it would incur a 20% reduction in the refund. (what about the interest they have had for almost 4 months) but I agreed to wait as following a complaint to the CEO office a new delivery date of 9/4 was agreed and we uplifted a display mattress on loan so we could at least sleep on the floor of our new home (not the ideal start but better than nothing). so again we wait. On 8/4 email arrives to state bed not coming until 22/4, no call just a bog standard email (very poor service given that it was on a “complaint tracker”). Given this was already on someone’s radar a courtesy call would be at the very least expected, so we called again, offered a replacement bed which we were told was in stock, we agreed to take a look and get back to them, when we called the next day to agree to the replacement bed frame we were told that this bed couldn’t be delivered until 23/4. I was then asked to leave it with them and they would call me back - no call received. We feel we have had no alternative to just cancel as we have no faith that the next date they give us will be the last one provided. To add insult to injury we are now being advised that they won’t be processing a refund until they get around to picking up the loaned mattress. Who knows when that will be.
