booked a service while you wait for 10am, at 11:45 could see my car had not moved, asked a service member of staff who said my car was on the ramp, pointed to my car in the carpark, told sorry we have not looked at the car yet, will try and do that soon could be upto 4pm, said no thanks. given wrong car key then given correct key to the car. very poor service. how can they book a car in then no one question why its not been done. told by the service manager human error. waisted half a day. come on BMW were is your customer service.

He went above and beyond with his customer service and couldn't fault anything. Very happy with my new car!
Truly dreadful BMW dealers
Truly dreadful BMW dealers, collection day waited 3 hrs and then they closed the showroom so had to return the next day and wait again, then they promised “compensation” for all my wasted time only to then renege on this and no one would speak to me - seriously go elsewhere Jardine BMW bromley 10 x better.

From start to finish..garbage.. Do not buy a car from here. Was this voted the worse BMW dealership in uk? They failed to deliver a car that I was assured was serviced and fully checked. It was not serviced as agreed and the heater wasn't working as well as the drivers mirror indicator. This was picked up on workshop inspection but they "chose" not to mend it and deliver a car with no heating.....hoping that it could be claimed through warranty ...Their after-sales service is non existant and the show room is a dump... gaffer tape holding leather together on chairs and security guards on the doors. BMW uk can do nothing about this.... which leads me to advise you to buy from another deaership....

Took my 3 series E46 in for mirror repair only had them repaired a year ago. I have sent over 2,000 pounds on repairs. These people are extremely rude and a total rip off
Deposit Refused Until Ombudsman Complaint – Eventually Refunded
My experience with BMW Berry Croydon involved a dispute over a deposit that ultimately required escalation to The Motor Ombudsman.
On Saturday 27 September 2025 I visited the dealership, completed test drives, and paid a £1,500 deposit for a showroom stock vehicle at around 5pm. I signed documents presented as part of the purchase process and the delivery was tentatively scheduled for 30 September.
On Monday morning (29 September), less than 40 hours after placing the order, I contacted the dealership at around 9am to cancel the purchase. At first, the sales representative confirmed that the order would be cancelled and the deposit refunded. About an hour later, he called back and said the deposit was now considered non-refundable. Further attempts to contact him were unsuccessful.
The following day I spoke with the sales manager, who confirmed the dealership intended to keep the deposit under a clause in their contract, citing a “lost opportunity.” Since the car was a standard showroom vehicle and not a bespoke factory order, I believed the dealership had not suffered any actual financial loss.
Because the refund was refused, I escalated the matter to The Motor Ombudsman and submitted a formal complaint with supporting evidence. After the case progressed through the complaint process, the dealership eventually refunded the full £1,500 deposit.
Although I appreciate that the deposit was eventually returned, the process took several months and required formal escalation to resolve. My advice to anyone ordering a vehicle is to carefully review the terms relating to deposits and cancellations before signing any documents.

The car was not prepped or checked against the Approved Used Car checklist and the salesman was very blasé about the problem with the satnav. The warning bells should have sounded loudly when it wasn't possible to tax the car, because the V5 hadn't been surrendered properly so the car was still taxed. The list of niggles was endless to the point that we felt compelled to reject the car as we had zero trust in the whole dealership. this does not feel like a BMW dealership, NO staff in any BMW logo or any name badges, this was a first for us after being BMW owners for over 20 years.

Extremely unprofessional and dishonest team, using what felt like bullying tactics
My BMW (under warranty) was taken to Berry Croydon after the boot malfunctioned on 27 December 2026 and smashed the rear windscreen. The vehicle was recovered and delivered by BMW Breakdown.
In January, I was quoted for the repair. After asking them to reassess the actual fault, we agreed a price of £1395. When I went to collect the car, no work had been done and the price had increased to over £1,900.
When I decided to take my car back, I expected a normal diagnostic charge, but instead was asked to pay nearly £1,000, including charges for courtesy parts from BMW UK.
I found the staff dishonest and lacking transparency. They also provided misleading information to BMW’s complaints department, which I have evidence of in writing.
Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning.

Extremely unprofessional! The staff seemed inexperienced and unhelpful. Tried to book in a warranty recall but was constantly passed around from different departments. Then when I actually got to the right one, I got no answer! Very poor standards from Berry. Signed up with Stephen James as you get high quality of service there.

Second time I’ve booked my car in and…
Second time I’ve booked my car in and been promised “ready by end of day.” Second time BMW Berry Croydon haven’t delivered. At this point it’s not bad luck — it’s a pattern.
I needed the car for an airport trip and had to pay out of pocket for alternative transport because they couldn’t meet their own deadline. To make it worse, you can’t even get through to anyone on the phone to get a straight answer. Stop overpromising, start communicating, and give realistic timescales.
Joseph at Berry Croydon BMW is an absolute star
In 2023, Berry Croydon MINI gave me a brilliant deal on a new MINI. In 2024, they got back in touch and somehow managed to upgrade me again to another brand-new MINI on yet another fantastic deal. Fast forward to last week and I was put in touch with Berry Croydon BMW, where I’ve now secured a brand-new BMW 1 Series - once again on an unbeatable deal.
I live around 300 miles away, so every purchase has meant a 300-mile round trip, but it’s been worth every single mile. Their deals genuinely are unmatched, and the service has always been excellent. That said, I have to give a special mention to Joseph at Berry Croydon BMW, because his service has been nothing short of exceptional.
From the very first contact last week through to delivering my brand-new BMW this week, Joseph has been absolutely outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble, communication was spot on throughout, and his knowledge is second to none. You can instantly tell he genuinely loves what he does and really knows his cars. He’s a massive credit to the business, and I truly hope he’s recognised and valued by the management team - he’s an absolute star.
I’m now looking forward to enjoying my new 1 Series, with the complete peace of mind that when I’m ready for a change again, I’ll be in very safe hands. Three brand-new cars in three years, all involving 300-mile round trips, probably says everything that needs to be said about how good Berry Croydon really are.
Also, a quick shout-out to Adam for the great demo on handover day - much appreciated.
