The Berry's pick-up at Taunton, Hankridge Way is impossible to get to on public transport - No bus seems to stop anywhere near.
Why don't they use the King's Arms pub for both coaches?

This review is primarily based on one Berry's Coaches employee, only nonetheless it is one's personal travel experience.

Earlier this year I was subjected to the unfortunate misfortune of being accused of eating *hot food and specifically *chicken twice** by the host on board(Heather) via the London to the West Country
service(evening). ie on two separate occasions on the same London to West Country service. On the subsequent journey I knew in my heart I was the unfortunate scapegoat for Heather for some reason unbeknownst to myself & also sadly terminate one's loyalty custom to a
local service business provider.

* FYI, I personally have a preference for cold or room temperature food and wouldn't dream of subjecting my fellow co passengers with this faux paux, personally(as a generally personal rule for myself I rarely like to

eat on board a vehicle such as a coach journey unless I have missed meals but have a preference for a cold veggie salad and or an apple🍏).
Another thing worth noting here is the fact I have not eaten chicken since the early nineties(when pub grub was
genuinely at it's v. best with 100%

homemade food ie roast unlike the ubiquitous pre manufactured ping food that you often encounter nowadays) as chicken isn't a part of my chosen lifestyle, personally.

Naturally, as an unfortunate scapegoat of Heather(on more than
one occasion) I did feel uncomfortable to be on that specific coach as a v.loyal paying customer to report both incidents and most importantly end my support to what essentially was a real gem of a local business service provider as a non driving female and mother but fear

gets in the way as always yet I think it really is my duty as a decent citizen to inform honestly & accurately the truth and actual 100% facts(I personally do not appreciate folks that can falsify and distort the truth to save themselves from the real consequences of their actions -

unfortunately we do find ourselves in a crook's paradise in 2024 to know folk seldom seem to have any sort of moral obligation & Divine conscience any more as opposed to an altogether different era where Sunday was sacred enough to cease trade and community was ubiquitous(I don't

think Modern Tech & social media helps matters).

FYI : I did notice someone(male passenger I think) on both occasions eating hot food on board twice(I have an accute sense of smell) but it wasn't me, I also carry a stainless steel waterbottle with me as I tend to get dehydrated when out and about(this coach journey is no exception).

On a positive note the hosts on board Berry's are generally & genuinely lovely and professional employees

with the exception of one(honestly feel she had issues with myself,

personally 😢)so don't let that put you off just because of my personal Berry experiences with a certain Berry's host, it was just unfortunate for me.

Superb service at very reasonable prices. Coaches are comfortable and soooo much cheaper than the train. Coffee was good and snacks available. Great job Berrys.

My son left his phone of the bus. Who ever je spoke too could not do enough for him. They located the phone, charged it up and delivered it to him the next day. Exceptional customer service.

Extremely poor customer service received from a member of the office staff, having raised a concerning and very disappointing recent trip which involved the safety of everyone on board. Having used this company for over 15 years, it’s a shame I can no longer support them.

Super organized - booking and setting up was easy and efficient. Took all the stress away from getting everyone there - and home again.

Not my experience. But just heard from my mother about allegedly being robbed on the bus while she fell asleep. Her handbag was opened and money and jewelry was taken. The bus service does not appear to be interested. But I would like to warn people, especially elderly ladies, that they may be targeted on this service.

Such a great service.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to berry’s coaches!
Me and my mother travelled from Yeovil to London Hammersmith in the morning (today, Saturday 20th July). There were replacement buses, changed tube routes and busy traffic so we missed our booked return coach back to Yeovil.
I asked on the off chance if the coach parked up in the same bay was going to Yeovil and they said no. I overheard it was going to Glastonbury and wells so asked if it was going to Yeovil they said no but the closest they could get us home was to street.
I was so relieved and could cry with happiness due to me and my mum not knowing how else to return to Yeovil.
We managed to get seats on the coach and was very happy with the service!

Cannot rate this company highly enough. Have travelled with them to London several times and never had an issue. Their buses are modern and always clean. The staff are very friendly, professional and efficient. Would choose this transport above rail travel.

Berry’s Coaches are very pleasant with clean coaches and lovely staff. I usually book online but I called the office today to book a last minute senior seat for my mother. Alex was incredibly efficient and kind. I am so grateful for such excellent customer service.

So firstly never used berry’s and always just gone for the “big” companies. Have to say I will always use berry’s where possible now. So much more features on the bus and I believe my ticket was cheaper (if not it’s practically the same) We had a host who made it that much nicer to travel offering drinks and snacks as well as checking on customers. Props to both host and driver of the “SF01” returning from London on 08/6/24 at 19:00 didn’t catch their names but they deserve absolute credit for my experience.

As always, prompt and efficient service with warm and friendly team. Thank you!

Great service on time clean coaches friendly helpful staff, sadly the coffee was awful not to our taste

Very helpful staff. Needed to change to a later bus for my children and was sorted almost instantaneously. Can’t recommend enough

Fab - only knocked a star off as booked table seats which we only ended up getting on the way back - there were none on the way out (you pay a tiny bit more for table seats) more irritating than "I want a refund" as you only pay a wee bit more. Also the numbers we were sent for seats seemed to not correspond at all with the coach - ok if it's not very full but could cause problems on a busier day - devil is in the detail etc

Unfortunately the Bus was late (1/4 hour) departing in the morning which made us miss the next connecting train and 1/2 hour late departing on our return on Sunday evening.
Not very happy this time !

Great local family business. Friendly, but professional. Prefer to use them over the larger companies.
