Bestinvest Avis 

Now that I am on board with Best Invest i would like to show my appreciation to Mellissa for her knowledgeable session discussing all my financial questions.

I have recently tried to transfer a SIPP pension from Bestinvest and further transfer funds from my employer into the same pot with AJ Bell. Bestinvest and AJ Bell are hopeless or maybe nefarious,for all their alleged review stars both are awful. Try to avoid thes companies at all costs. They reverted from Bestinvest advising that my reference is incorrect which it isn’t. They are virtually impossible to contact easily. I have been merely told to re apply on line meantime my money is floating about somewhere losing investment potential/interest. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE COMPANIES. They have taken no interest in my complaint, ARE THEY SCAMMERS ?… Bestinvest reference B1879053. These 2 companies are worthy of being reported to the FSA maybe even the Police, for clandestine retention of my pension fund and failing to transfer.

Colin was very helpful and addressed all my questions fully. I am happy with the service provided - allows me to invest independently but with some general guidance about what I should take into account when making decisions.

The coaching session was useful to make me understand risks involved and what tools to use to make a decision in dropping and choosing funds.

Some pointer to poor and performing fund would be useful, but I was explained that service is not available at all.

Melisa was very helpful however, unfortunately, their sister company, Evelyn, were unable to provide me with advice, as the portfolio I am a trustee for is too small. Only suitable for investors with £150,000 or more, therefore their advice offering is limited, hence the score.

I had great service from Colin at Best Invest. He was informative and gave me some sound guidance on the various ways I can invest my money. Would recommend anyone to get in touch with Best Invest.

Collin is knowledgeable and understands how to explain scenarios to parents that require support for their kids JISA. After the call I was able to have more understanding of what I have read

My first (chosen slightly randomly) and main investing platform. While they will not be the cheapest and there can be the occassional tech issue over the last 8 years I have found them a very reliable service. In addition their free coaching sessions are second to none with a very handy summary follow up that condensed the main points that came up. Colin was knowledgeable and helped firm up plans I had already been thinking about and was able to answer almost everything I threw at him. Would highly recommend especially for those with prior investing experience but suitable for all.

All my questions were answered fully with an email afterwards to supply the requested information.

This was the first time I had booked a free appointment with an Investment Coach and I was very pleased with the whole process and the information that he gave me. I had a few specific questions that couldn't be answered by reading general information about investing, and I wanted feedback from an investments professional rather than trusting my questions to AI.

Marc was very clear, helpful and friendly. He showed me data relating to my questions that was really useful in aiding me to make my own informed choices moving forward. He listened when I explained my perspective and what I was hoping to achieve, and I felt that he understood what I was getting at and provided meaningful information which aligned with that. In future I will definitely book another session when I feel that I need one for further guidance.

Once again I find myself having to leave another bad review for this investment business. On the 28th May I requested a U.S Nasdaq stock to be added to the trading platform. After numerous chase up calls - still no response or contact from BI after initially being told it looks ok to be added to the platform. Numerous promises of escalation, follow up emails that never come and no contact from BI.

Really enjoyed learning more about shares, the stock markets from Mellisa who shared her knowledge in a friendly, uncomplicated way.

My financial advisor, Colin Murray was extremely informative and he answered all my questions and concerns .I had complete confidence and trust in his communications with me and above all he was very professional and yet very approachable as well.He is an asset to Bestinvest and I would highly recommend him to any prospective investor.

I’ve had excellent support from Melissa Baldwin at Bestinvest. She has been consistently clear, patient, and reassuring, especially when explaining why certain balances weren’t yet available and how settlement times work. Her guidance on fund switches and the Bed & ISA process was straightforward and easy to follow, even when I was confused by duplicated holdings across accounts.
