Reported the problem immediately — still couldn't get a full refund
I contacted BestPCAdapter within days of receiving the adapter because there was a problem with the order. Instead of promptly resolving it, they repeatedly asked for photos, part numbers, connector information, and additional testing.
I cooperated and tested the adapter multiple times. It does not work with my Sony TV. I then requested a return and full refund.
The company told me they would accept the return, but said I would have to send it to their overseas warehouse, which would cost more than $25 and take another 2–3 weeks. Instead, they offered me only a 50% refund and suggested that I keep or sell the adapter locally.
What concerns me most is that I reported the problem almost immediately after receiving the product. The extended timeline resulted from trying to resolve the issue directly with the seller and following their troubleshooting requests.
I have since found other customer reviews describing a very similar experience involving expensive overseas returns and offers of percentage refunds.
Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this company again.
