Blacks - Brighton Avis 

Visited today and wasn't looking for anything in particular, but ended up purchasing a new jacket thanks to the staff in there. They were very helpful and Harry especially gave great customer service! Would definitely recommend a trip to this store if you're looking for something specific, I'll definitely be going back!

Another outstanding customer service in the Blacks shop in Brighton! Mike was extremely knowledgeable and he took his time to measure my feet. I have learned that one of my feet are half size bigger and I have been wearing the wrong size for my walking boots. Therefore, after trying few different pairs, Mike offered me a great pair of Scarpa walking boots.
Exceptional customer service! I will definitely return again and recommend this shop and their staff to anyone!
PS: I will like to mention Jude too, which kindly has helped me on a different occasion. As well as the lovely representative at the till, which I don't know her name. She helped me to replace a different pair of walking shoes.

I tried to buy a model of shoes but there was no right size. Lily was very patient and helpful and finally I found another style that fit me.

I had a boot fitting session with Mike, he was absolutely amazing. His depth of knowledge on all things hiking was impressive. He is super friendly and helpful. I walked away very happily with great boots and insoles to help my feet when walking.

The rest of the staff were also very sweet and helpful.

If you are looking for new boots ask for Mike!!

A huge thanks to Soraya at Blacks in Brighton who could not have been more helpful. She really went out of her way and clearly knew her stuff. We both bought a new pair of Merrells and she was spot on with her advice. I hope she tries out the walks we suggested (and the roast afterwards ☺️) So nice to meet such a lovely salesperson.

Went into the Brighton branch of Blacks looking for a Berghaus waterproof jacket to link up with a fleece I bought earlier in the year. Eloise served me and showed me the colour options available and then put my existing fleece together with the new waterproof. Explaining how the 2 way zips & clips all went together. Very helpful but no pressure. Thank you

Just to say that Eloise was increíble. I have a long list of items to buy for a trip to Iceland and she was willing to helping me out from the moment I asked her till the purchase of the items. She was kind, friendly and so patient. She went through every item and came up with alternatives and suggestions if the item was not in stock. She has made such a difference today .
