Really great experience today in the Cardiff store. The guy on the door went out of his way to help me find a great pair of gloves that would be good on my bike in cold weather and then the store manager helped me to find a pair of running gloves that were exactly what I was looking for. The level of customer service I received exceeded my expectation and I will certainly be returning for more items. I’d recommend this store 100%. Great service, great quality of items. Perfect.

Excellent service
Went in today to buy walking boots. Dylan served me. Extremely helpful regarding the footwear and patient while I decided which ones to buy.Very friendly and approachable. Thank you very much would deffo shop again.

Very pleased with our service today from Dylan at Blacks, Cardiff. We went in looking for two pairs of waterproof walking boots. Dylan used his knowledge to explain the different merits of various designs of boot which helped us to select the types that were most suited to our requirements. Dylan has a friendly and approachable manner. One pair that we chose was awaiting delivery instore, but we were able to order these directly from the till, saving us making another journey, and these should be with us within 3-4 days.
Update: delivery arrived in under 24 hours. Very satisfied customer

Cardiff Bay store - very helpful staff
Bec and Ethan at the Cardiff Bay store were great and a breath of fresh air after the terrible customer service experience I’d had by email with presumably Head Office.
I was expecting to have to leave my boots to be sent off for quality assessment but was instead offered a refund or exchange, so my expectations were exceeded by them at this store. Thank you!

Rebecca Was Awesome
Rebecca was knowledgable, friendly and enthusiastic, she helped me get the correct equipment I needed and it was an enjoyable experience overall. Scott was also very friendly in serving me at the till. I recommend these people for top customer service.

Great Customer Service
Great Selection of clothing, gear and footwear. Greeted by Scott who showed me which boots were appropriate for my hiking trip. He was knowledgeable and patient as I tried on various brands. I was able to use my Blue Light Discount and Hannah was more than happy to apply it for me! I was then thanked by Sam as I left. Great team and will be returning for more items in the future. Dan's customer service in blacks Cardiff bay
I went into blacks in Cardiff bay retail park and was approached by a guy called Dan. I was there to pick up a parcel, I had taken a trolley with me as I do not drive, however the parcel was much to big to fit in and to heavy for me to carry. This is where Dan gave exceptional customer service ! I work in retail management myself and was truly amazed at Dan's customer service, he offered to drop my parcel to me as he could see I was stuck on how to get it home and I only live a few minutes away from the retail park but it was so heavy I could not have done it. He was pleasant,kind and helpful and delivered it to me in his lunch hour a credit to your company. Please pass on my thanks to him and to his line manager. One happy customer.

I returned a pair of boots as they had started leaking, with no hassle at all, I had an instead exchange which was great as I needed them ready for a hiking trip I had planned.
