Blue Diamond Garden Centre, Woburn Sands
Visited our local GC in Woburn Sands. Found staff to be very knowledgeable on plants and where they could be found in store. Checkout staff were very warm and very efficient and I was served promptly. I found everything I needed and more. Highly recommend a visit.

Hadn't been to Frost's in Woburn Sands…
Hadn't been to Frost's in Woburn Sands for some years, but what a surprise when I did. Everything was just outstanding 5*. I took my mum who is in a wheelchair, lot's of blue badge bays near to both entrances. Was very easy to navigate the main shop and restaurant with her chair, mind you my driving of the chair could have been better! We are local to the area and said we definitely have to go back in next couple of weeks just to see the rest of the shops. They also have a car valeting area so you can get your car detailed whilst you shop! The clothing department was stunning, quality and layout and products that were being sold - outstanding! even the sale items were great value and I did buy a couple of items. Staff were so helpful and polite and even when i had to go back a few days later to exchange my purchases for smaller sizes Clara on the till was an absolute dream! I wasn't a Blue Diamond member, but she explained the pro's of being one and signed me up - which is free! We did have breakfast in the restaurant - OMG!!! I had the Cypriot breakfast and it was out of this world and portion size was great. My mum had the light full english, bless her she said she should have had something off the child's menu, it was a lot for her. The caramel iced lattes were absolutely delicious, pricing was a little expensive but when you look at the surroundings, quality, quantity and service it was well worth it.Also found out they do Sunday lunches so will be back for one of them soon.
I did venture into the garden centre area when I returned for my exchanges, big mistake! I did go to the TLC area and bought £85 worth of plant's for just £25! could have spent all day in there! quality of all their plants are well worth the money. Cannot give Frost's a high enough rating, can't wait to return :-)

I went to the derby garden centre today…
I went to the derby garden centre today with my parents at the till the lady was not interested in any customer service at all she didn’t speak or smile or even give any eye contact my dad is disabled and was given no help with his plants and was rushed to put them in the trolley as she had started serving the customer behind him he also asked for some compost and no one helped him put it in the car luckily I was able to do this for him if the lady didn’t want to work their she should look for another job and give it to someone who knows how to be with customers

Don't try to order garden furniture from Blue Diamond!
I have usually had good customer service at my local Blue Diamond garden centre (Wilton). Staff are helpful and friendly. However, I have recently been trying to buy a garden parasol (and base) from them. I visited the centre to decide what I wanted. When I eventually found someone to help, he was in too much of a rush to answer all my questions. However, I got the answers I needed by sending a message through the online contact form. When I visited the Centre I gave my postcode and was assured I could have the item delivered (it is too big to fit in my car). I have now tried to order the item online, but the website is telling me that delivery is unavailable and I have to collect the order. This is ridiculous. It means I cannot buy from Blue Diamond. I have tried many times to use Blue Diamond's online chat service to try to get to the bottom of this, but it seems permanently unavailable - so I have to assume the icon on the website is just there for show and is never actually operational. Very disappointing. Won't try to buy from Blue Diamond again, and would not recommend to anyone else.

A worryingly unsafe and dreadful experience
My husband and I visited the wrongly titled
‘ Garden Centre’ near Huntingdon to purchase shrubs & perennials on a Sunday early after noon at the end of May 2026.
We were hit by the stifling aromas of the interior candles as we tried to access the plants, finding ourselves trapped within the only obvious route around this array of high street style goods. No sign of garden plants anywhere. We asked 2 assistants how to get out of the claustrophobic building and were told both times that we had to follow the signage.
I became very panicky, feeling trapped by this, to us, unsafe corridor system yet the third assistant was quite abrupt in directing us to the next indoor section rather than helping us get out to fresh air.
When we reached the sign for the exit we then had to push and squeeze through customers queueing with their bulky goods in order to get out.
It was not only a horrendously hot, claustrophobic environment within the glaringly bright warehouse, but felt unsafe, as we just couldn’t get out, even having asked 3 assistants.
We have since wondered about safety if an emergency occurred. We will not be returning.

The Canterbury garden centre always…delivers in every department
The Canterbury garden centre always looks clean and tidy, good range of plants and pots. Good size clothing department, have bought some nice footwear from there at reasonable prices. Same goes for the homeware department, good selection for either yourself or if looking for a gift. All staff knowledgeable and friendly.

They offered a refund for a mislabelled pear tree that turned out to be an apple tree. I suggested a £28 gift voucher as a fair settlement since this would be better for them than a refund. They agreed to this but wanted the wrong tree returned for some kind of investigation! The tree is now approx. 7.5 foot tall in it’s pot, and it’s completely impractical to remove it from its pot and get in transported to the garden centre. So in total frustration I asked for my money back to close the case. Never heard from them again, my emails ignored. So no compensation for their mislabelling error. Hardly seems fair! So one star it has to be.

Regarding your response and request to confirm my email address on your customer service website. Your people at Worcester GC already have my correct email address as we’ve exchanged numerous emails. So rest assured they have it. Incidentally, I have not heard from them either yesterday or today so far. I will update this site should I continue to be cancelled by them. We shall see.

Worcester GC never wrote to me again and Joanne took over. Got an apology and fair compensation. So my thanks go to her. It’s a good thing that we have Trustpilot for these situations.

This is a great garden centre with something for everyone. Plenty of choice in the two eating places , and dogs are welcome throughout the store . Ladies fashion and a great selection of food in the shop including a butchers . Staff are so friendly, I love going there

Bromley Garden Furniture
19 May Ordered and paid over £2600 for Bromley Garden Furniture with "5-6 days delivery" ready for friends and family BBQ.
27 May Chairs delivered but NO Table. "Sorry we only have 3 of 4 parcels on van".
The order says delivery guys to unpack and remove packaging - No such service given.
29 May Table delivered. However "sorry Sir" the glass table top is smashed we'll get a replacement.
It's now 1st June, our family and friends BBQ was yesterday and no sign of replacement table or apologies.
We went with Local Garden Centre for peace of mind - more fool us!

Holt Garden Centre has been our go to for the last four years meeting friends for breakfast/ dinner/ or coffee and cake. And of course the huge variety of everything garden. This is not just a garden centre but a huge area of professional items for all outdoors enjoyment.

Love Harleston garden centre but...
Love the local Harleston garden centre in so many ways. Great staff, good range and good quality bit man that peat free compost is horrible. Poor germination rate and very little progress thereafter. Had to buy some good stuff from a competitor.
My recommendation is do use the garden centre but don't buy the compost.
