Nobody called or emailed. I have my boat on many other platforms and I am getting loads of calls because the boat is priced cheap.

Be aware of scams
If you are buying a boat, please take care. We have had an attempted scam on our first attempt to buy a boat through this site. We've just informed boats24.com and no doubt they will remove the listing asap, but the scammer will also no doubt try again under another alias. The 'giveaway' that it was a scam was the offer of free delivery and no VAT, and also using an escrow company that was not registered with the FCA.
The story given by the scammer seemed plausible and the website linked to looked professional, so indepth research is needed.

Réponse de Boats24.com
Good morning and thank you for your information. We removed the ad from our site, blocked the user and warned everyone who has sent him a request.
We check every seller, but sometimes scammers are not immediately recognisable. Therefore, we also rely on users to inform us when something is wrong.
Since we can't 100% rule out the possibility that a scammer might advertise, we provide exact warnings so that buyers know what to look out for.
Unfortunately, scammers are out and about on all online platforms.
Can you please tell us which escrow site/company should be used?
Greetings from Hamburg

Réponse de Boats24.com
Hello,
because you have registered as a private seller, it is not possible to create an invoice for a company.
If you are a company, please register as a commercial seller, then the invoices will be issued accordingly.
Greetings from Hamburg

It seems like a good easy site.
