WORST!! company i have ever dealt with. I placed my order on cyber monday and over a week later they finally claimed to have shipped my order but when I checked the tracking all they did was print a label. I tried emailing them about it and got no response and when i called all they told me was that their warehouse was overwhelmed and if I still don't get the items within the next few days to call back. When I called back they told me that the items I ordered were out of stock in which they never informed me about. So not only did they lie to me about shipping my items, they weren't even in stock and kept me in the dark the whole month I've been waiting and now I am out gifts for my family. I will never be doing business with them again!
I have been trying to order two items …
I have been trying to order two items from this site for over a month. First I specifically waited to order my NBC suitcase for cyber Monday to save some money. I had tried to purchase it all night since Monday at 2 am. it would not go through so I had to call early in the morning to order it. I finally got it ordered through the phone and received an order confirmation number. I waited until the next Monday, (Keep in mind, I gave them a week for a shipping confirmation email, which they did not need.) I called and asked about my order and they said that the order was cancelled because of some issue with the payment. I spoke with a woman and I asked her why there was no cancellation email and that I needed it for the end of the week cause I was traveling. She offered free overnight shipping and we tried in another CC, the next day I received no shipping confirmation so I called again. Then they tell me that the order was cancelled again (I again did not received and email with the cancellation) because it was out of stock. I looked online and the item doesn't show as out of stock, I even attempt and order to see the time frame for shipping and stock issues never show. At this point I give up, super upset because I really wanted the item for my trip to Mexico. Now, my husband ordered me a NBC backpack for Christmas also on Cyber Monday (which I just found out because he never received it). It is now December 22, and it did not arrive yet? so he tells me and gives me the order confirmation number and asks me to call (He knows I will set them straight). I called and they tell me the order was cancelled because the payment information. I again tell them (yell) that I did not receive a cancellation email, to which he says that he will make note that the cancellation email was not sent. But seriously, he made it sound like it was a one time mistake, which it has happened now 4 times. The experience was awful, disheartening, and very, very unprofessional. Prices are expensive, so if I'm paying this much for an item that is this exclusive I would expect a service that is up to par.
Logistics are lacking- be prepared to wait!
Cool stuff BUT Logistics are lacking - be prepared for 10+ days ship time with no warning. I ordered an item on DEC 16 as a gift for xmas and the item didn't ship until DEC 19 PM with a target arrival of DEC 28! When I called customer service they informed me that they had been advertising a DEC 15 cutoff for xmas arrivals for weeks. I informed them that I don't know anything about their advertising, I just found their store online and bought something 9 days before xmas expecting it to be there. The website gave no warning about the risk of it no getting there. She offered for me to buy another one and ship it overnight. Why would I want to spend more money on the same item because they have no idea what they are doing? I've ordered at least 5 items from 3 other websites since DEC 16 and have already received them, most with free shipping!
Don't waste your time waiting
Order on monday and still hasnt shipped on friday and keep getting the run arround that it takes 5-10 days for delivery but wont say when it will ship dpnt order online they just waste your time and take your money.
Don't bother w/ online ordering
The online pricing is cheaper than the in store price and any in-store promotion, but if you see something in the store that you like: get it. I learned the hard way in trying to save 10 dollars by purchasing online. My order took over 19 days to arrive because the first 2 times Box Lunch "lost" my order. The 3rd time they shipped it overnight but the item didn't get picked up from the warehouse until the 2nd business day. The customer service response is also inconsistent because they responded to my Twitter but not through the web submission. AND they kept telling me I was at risk of not having my order filled because of limited stock. All 3 of my items arrived but then there was an issue with 1 of the product. The quality of the tshirt fabric sent to me was much thinner than the product in the store.
