Brewers Decorator Centres - Dorchester Avis 

Very easy ordering system, item was delivered very quickly and by a very nice driver.

We have used Brewers in Dorchester on multiple occasions recently and have found all the staff to be helpful, polite and knowledgeable which is essential to amateurs like us!
They were exceptional in keeping in touch regarding orders and,in one case, chasing a refund—- thankyou Tina!

I went in to ask advice about purchasing a litre of grey paint to accompany a 2 and a half litre tin of farrow and ball which I was also purchasing for use in an old cob cottage. Was shown their own make and opted for a grey colour which the man went off to get. Once I had paid I picked up the tin and realised it was a VINYL Matt emulsion which is totally unsuitable for cob walls so I told the man it would not be of any use an his answer - “Well I’ve mixed it now”. At no point did he tell me that the paint was not available ready mixed in which case I would have gone for another make available in a one litre tin. His attitude was really rude and unhelpful and he just kept repeating “well it’s mixed now”. - I WILL NEVER USE BREWERS AGAIN AND ADVISE ANYONE ELSE IF THEY ARE TEMPTED TO MAKE SURE YOU GET THEM TO ADVISE YOU OF THE FULL FACTS BEFORE PARTING WITH YOUR MONEY.

As a complete novice myself, he was very knowledgeable and spent the time to explain in great detail about different finishes and also helped with how colours work and lighting for me to be able to make informed decisions.
