I think this is one of the bad parking…

I think this is one of the bad parking management I have seen, first of all no clear sign, notice boards while you are operating parking within a pub premises, when network is not working and you notify the same to the pub, you will still receive the parking fine.

Shocking way they correspond and address customers - let down the poeple they are meant to represent

Shocking way they correspond no empathy or understanding, blunt and rude. I had a PCN waived when I charged an electric car. the charging took longer than the permitted time to stay - clearly no understanding of adapting to what they are advertising people to do within the car park! I dont think I have seen such rude correspandance in my life. I won my appeal so this is not being bitter - just honest about such awful behaviour from these people

They charge you when your car gets broken into!

You'd better hope your car isn't broken into in a Britannia Car Park.

Not only are the security guards totally useless, but they'll even give you a parking fine for the time you spend, waiting for the police, picking broken glass out of your car.

Don't try and appeal either. Even with photographic evidence of the break in, Britpark are under the impression that you, the driver with the broken into car should pay for extra time whilst you sort it all out.

Disgusting.

System NOT fit for purpose

Unfortunately for me their system conveniently didn’t recognise my bank details on a return visit (so they must have known my details). Then when I went to reluctantly pay their £40 fine their system did not recognise their own PCN number 3105646. This evening I have even tried booking for tomorrow’s parking which appeared successful but this has NOT been taken either. The bank card works as it eventually took the the £40.10 fine. Awaiting an apology and £34.90 refund.

Scam!!

They send you a letter a week or so later saying you didn’t pay, they know you have no evidence and no option. Don’t go near them!!!

Absolute joke

Absolute joke. Lack of signs yet happy to give a fine and at £60 as a discounted rate when people cannot afford to pay their bills. Ruined day thanks Britannia

"Faulty" ANPR cameras

I got 2 PCNs as Britpark's ANPR cameras only capture the first entry and last exit in a day - a breach of the Code of Conduct of the BPA which they are a member of.

I appealed the PCNs, didn't receive a reply but funnily enough when I complained to the BPA they were cancelled after their "investigation"!

Their excuse is that my number plate must have been obstructed during the first exit and second entrance on FOUR separate occasions a week apart. Now I find this highly unlikely since the days I visited the car park has high visibility (it was May so weather was nice, no rain) and I would have had to have been bumper to bumper with another car (or them bumper to bumper with me on entry) which is basically impossible with how the car park entrance/exit is laid out.

They know what they're doing - trying to scam people out of money and hoping they don't appeal and making poor excuses when they do. It's disgusting the amount of vulnerable people that have probably paid these scammers when they have received threatening letters.

I hate this company

I hate this company and my local supermarket should not use them and no supermarket that values it's customers should use them. What sort of country have we become when there is this sort of disgusting money-making parking mafia. And talking of mafia, in Italy people would not stand to be treated in such an impersonal, zero-tolerant, greedy and cold attitude.
Do not give your trade to supermarkets where they use this and other such disgusting parking companies.

It’s a ridiculous amount to charge

It’s a ridiculous charge, it’s unfair and they charged me despite both machines being out of order. I didn’t have my phone to call the phone number etc.. won’t ever park there again or go to that pub.

Went on three websites to pay a parking…

Went on three websites to pay a parking fee. None of them were navigable and it is impossible to talk to anyone. I agree with many previous reviews - it should be possible to rate them ZERO. The company has no concept of customer service. I also don't understand how they have a three star rating when all three reviews rated them one star

After sending the proof that we part ex our car on the 17th Dec 2021 they sent a letter back saying you was the registered Owner on 17.12.2022 ummmm hold on is it not feb 2022 you issued the parking fine. Absolute fools causing my partner to be very distressed even sent it to a debt recovery company! There incomparable idiot staff can't read the letter and proof correct 🙄! Think it's time to show them what it's like to have solicitors threatening them with court orders etc ! There so dumb should be understanding of vulnerable people but you can't even call them nobody answers. Unless company

Avoid parking at Britannia Car Parks at all costs. Absolutely appalling company. We paid for our parking but had issues adding the full number plate. We were able to provide proof of payment but the companies’ responses took so long for our appeal emails it meant that we then started receiving threatening emails. All phone numbers are recorded messages so you can’t speak to anyone and email responses take forever. Absolutely disgusted

Outrageous parking company!

Outrageous parking company!
Pulled into open car park at 5am to eat a take away, was there for 19 mins and received a £100 fine £60 if paid within 14 day I appealed obviously as they state 30 mins free parking but appeal rejected as didn’t obtain a free parking ticket!!!
