Caine Leather Avis 

AVOID THIS COMPANY - I ordered the Plymtree Men's leather jacket in September for my partner's birthday in early October at a cost of £210 and by mid-November the jacket had to be returned for repair to stitching on one of the pockets. It was returned by them on 28/11/20 and by early January the stitching on another of the pockets had completely unravelled. I e-mailed them and sent photos on 13/01/21, but got the response from Alex that "We will not accept the jacket back again when the same thing has been done to a different pocket. The seam is not faulty, it has been deliberately opened up and forced back to cause the maximum apparent damage. So I'm afraid we will not accept this jacket back for a refund. We believe it has been deliberately damaged."

I will, of course, be taking the matter further as no-one would "deliberately damage" an item of clothing bought as a present and the jacket is clearly of extremely poor quality, especially as it has only been worn a handful of times in less than 4 months.

I love my brown long gilet so much. I looked at lots of different companies online and whilst this was a little more pricy it was worth the extra as the cut is super flattering. Highly recommend.

I tried to contact this company by email and phone but no answer after several attempts. I suspect that as it was an issue with the jacket it was ignored. Finally got through a few weeks ago and was immediately confronted with hostility. I sent photographs of the problem and then stared a dialogue with Ian which I found unfriendly. He tried to blame my shape and said that I had stretched the garments.
Due to Corona I had only worn the jacket a couple of times and not zipped up so I thought this was very defensive. I have taken independent advise from a Tailor who said this was nonsense but to rectify it would be not be cost effective. I do not expect to hear from them again and from my experience would not recommend them especially in the area of customer relations. In conclusion you would expect a starting statement of ‘we are sorry to hear of your issue with our product how can we help’

Got a jacket from them, 2 leather Types stitched together. Lamb and Cowhide. It looks disgusting. I don't dare to send back the jacket seeing how poor the quality of the jacket is. I do not recommend this scummy company jackets

I ordered a leather jacket in December for a Christmas present for my husband.  I just wanted to say how pleased we both are with the jacket.  I was slightly apprehensive about ordering one online; however, the ordering process was easy, the jacket is a really good fit and the leather is lovely.  It was easy to speak to someone on the phone before ordering if I needed any advice but your website has lots of helpful information on it.

I ordered my jacket on December 15, and it arrived at my door in the US on December 18, 2020!The size chart is accurate, and the jacket is clearly made of quality materials, great construction and attention to detail. When I emailed this company with questions, I always got a response within 48 hours.

Was searching for a Leather jacket (that i saw in a film ) i googled it and the first website looked fake then noticed Caine Leather, chose one hoping it was similar to that one i saw , ordered it tues night arrived thurs afternoon :):) it is the jacket am after,,well worth the price , nice on and heavy and well made :):) Caine leather you made my year :):):)

Quick efficient delivery of my "MEN'S BLACK LEATHER HOODED JACKET: MANATON."

On receipt realised size was too big, followed instructions on dpdcreturns package and have resent back. Now simply awaiting for the correct sized jacket which should be recieved in approximately a week. Even though I only had the jacket in my hands for a few hour's the quality all round, style and soft luxurious leather with a hood actually sewn in to jacket as one piece. Beautiful. Can't wait to recieve the jacket and start showing it off to the world. And of course will mention,Caine Leather!

Ordered a sheepskin flying jacket on Friday, it arrived the following Tuesday. The van was outside our drive at the exact moment the delivery slot was due to start, which I thought was impressive. The jacket is lovely. I got my husband to try it on, before removing it to be kept for Christmas. (It’s his present.) He is very pleased with it; he thought the sleeves were perhaps a little tight, but I pointed out that it is sheepskin, and my experience of sheepskin slippers is that they are almost impossible to get into when brand new, but with a bit of wearing the fleece compresses a little and then the fit is fine. (When I mentioned this to Caine Leather, they confirmed this is quite correct, sheepskin does indeed 'ease' in this way.) Very pleased with both product and service.

My order from Caine leather, was delivered in two days. Leather coat was superb ,great fit,supple leather, exactly as described. FANTASTIC

Ordered a new jacket a few days ago ...
Turned up quick and looks good ...slightly thinner leather than I expected but quality seems ok
The ykkk zip has a thin link on what I was surprised about but I’ll give it a go
Style looks excellent so only time will tell but so far so pleased

I ordered a jacket which arrived within 2 days, unfortunately size was way to small. I spoke with a very helpful gentleman and he told me to go up two sizes. Returning was easy and my new jacket arrived. Perfect fit and I love it.

I purchased a jacket for my elderly father, thinking that this company had a good reputation.

I was very much mistaken, the jacket I sent for was much too big for my father and needed to be returned. We were supplied with a return label for dpd. I googled to find out the nearest return place for dpd and discovered this was Matalan, which was no problem, as there was one in Merthyr Tydfil.

Luckily I rang Matalan first just to check and no they would not accept return parcels, the gentleman kindly looked into the nearest place and that was in Aberdare, Matalan Merthyr Tydfil were only a pick up point.

I rang Caine's to enquire how I could return the jacket. The gentleman who answered appeared not to be bothered that the nearest return shop is in Aberdare and unless necessary e.g for work etc because of covid, we are not supposed to travel outside the Merthyr area. He did say he could extend the period we keep the item, I pointed out, I could not be certain we would return to normal after 9th Nov. I then asked if I posted it, could they supply a returns label, to which I was told No! It cost me £11.00 to return the jacket. I will ring them tomorrow to find out how long it will be before they refund me for the cost of the jacket back into my account and will then update here.

I do not recommend this company and seriously would consider before ordering from them if it is worth it, has if an item doesn't fit it will probably be at your expense to return!
