Love the set but it came chipped - customer service brilliant!
Love the set! High quality and feels luxury. However I noticed when I was unboxing that the lid of my large skillet is chipped. I noticed this as soon as I pulled it out of the box - I contacted Caraway and they agreed to send me a replacement straight away. I was so impressed with their customer service.

Good ceramic pans - but with either no lids, or crazy-expensive lids!
I'm not quite sure what to think about the fact that Caraway's good ceramic 8" and 10" pans do not work with standard pan lids! They don't even work well with most of the "universal" pan lids that are so versatile they should be able to fit "anything". Is that a design flaw? Or is it a trap for the unwary consumer? (Yes, they DO sell lids that fit - for up to $70 for the 10". hmmm, that sure seems excessive to me. Proprietary lids...maybe a way to generate more sales?)
So far, though, I do like the pans themselves. They seem to be very good quality. Hopefully they also last well and retain their smooth, ceramic, non-stick surface.
Caraway just responded that they have lids available. Yes, they do, but for $55-$70 apiece! That's not reasonable or competitive.
I had to order several from Amazon to find two that fit. The ones that don't fit will be returned for free, and the two I am keeping cost me $10 and $18.
It's kind of like when all the phones and cameras and such used nonstandard ports, so we needed way too many charging cords. They got smart and went to the miniUSB (C).
Caraway, you should do the same. Or sell your lids for a reasonable price.

Our 8" and 10" ceramic pans have a unique rim design that may not fit standard lids. This design choice enhances performance, but we understand it can be limiting. We offer specially sized glass lids for our pans and regularly review pricing to keep it fair.
