Prejudice staff, Dirty Garden Rooms
Prejudice staff, dirty rooms (which required cleaning as soon as we arrived, clumps of hair on the bathroom floor), not very accommodating at all, arrived 15 mins late due to an accident on the motorway (pre called and informed them) was refused access to spa and not offered another time slot or any form of compensation. We had upgraded our stay as it was our anniversary weekend champagne etc. Extremely disappointed, paid over £700 for an evening in a dirty suite.
At breakfast the host didn't even say good morning, seated us without advising us where to get things from. The next couple were met with a lovely sunny disposition, and an enthusiastic guided tour of the dining set up (they were much fairer than us). Stepped on a cold chip under my table, which was obviously there from the night before. Did provide feedback which was automatically requested, fell on uninterested ears.
We compensated ourselves by having a lovely day shopping at nearby Oaks, before we took the long drive back home.

Definitely recommend
Stayed here on 27th dec. lovely hotel in fantastic surroundings. Staff all helpful and friendly and food good. Rooms looked like they’d been recently renovated and were really spacious, clean and beds extremely comfy. Would have been a 5 star if not for the leisure pool area being a little “tired”. Definitely recommend for a good value break away.
