Even if you are on the bones of your backside avoid this company like the plague emailed numerous times to say I would have to miss this month's payment due to a change in my pay and they have continually harassed me by phone message email, my job is mostly under ground so can't use phone and I can't talk to them as their office hours are not inline with my work hours dreadful company can't wait to pay them off and never have to deal with them again

Well they are good for lending short term but they don’t listen I’ve told them not to take payment as early as they try as wages don’t get to my bank then they send a message payment failed which I get but then for a while now which as never been fixed they say go online and pay but no it don’t work as your loan ref number isn’t valid so sort the issue then because you can’t sort it you have to call them if not you get charged five quid for late payment which wouldn’t happen if they sorted there site out.

Very disappointed thus far. Online application on a Thursday morning. Email confirmation of loan and payment schedule received. Feeling optimistic as email received quickly!! Needed money as not paid for another week. Called later Thursday, spoke with seemingly disinterested call advisor said would be processed the following day (Friday) by 18:00. I asked if money would be in my account by Friday night then? Reply yes. Friday night no money in my account. Closed all weekend. So today Monday thought would give benefit of doubt, afternoon still no money, no email updates. no response to email I had sent. Tried calling number to speak with underwriting team. Busy, no reply, no voicemail facility just a brief we will be in touch. I get paid this Friday and payment due out from my account to cash4u !!! Not even received loan yet!!! Must admit not impressed by lack of contact, interim update or funds. Want to cancel but cannot get hold of anyone to do it. My advice go somewhere else for a loan. I am in customer service myself. Very poor.

Update - Wednesday 17/08. Despite being told on Thursday 11/08 by underwriter that my loan application would be processed by 18:00 Friday 12th. Received an email Tues16th, your loan application has been declined!! If my application was destined to be declined, why say funds would be on my account by 12th? Cash4u need to advise people more clearly when they phone in with an enquiry, explain better and give the honest timeframes. Don't be fooled by the quick response emails after application. In my opinion they should make it clear that this is SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION as very misleading, makes you feel your application was accepted and only a matter of time before you receive funds. Still for me a poor experience, waiting, not getting the right updates or advice. Only after all that to be declined. Will not use again. Have had much better experience with other short-term loan companies.

I needed some cash to last till payday (which, at the time of writing this, is only 8 days away), for basics like food, petrol, electric top-up etc. The magic of the internet recommended this site, but I wish I would have read the reviews here first.
I filled in the usual application form and was emailed to say I was provisionally accepted. I then got another email to digitally sign the agreement. I then had a phone call and had to go through the whole application again! Another 2 emails saying they're trying hard to process my application, and finally, this morning, an email saying I'd been unsuccessful.
I know these companies have to be careful when lending, but I needed a few quid for a week, yet I was treated like I wanted a half a million pound mortgage.
Plus, I had to agree to this invasive practice where you have to grant access to your bank account, which I hope has now ended since I failed to qualify.
In contrast, last year, I applied for a £1000 loan for home improvements (with a company I won't name but put an excellent review of on here) and the funds were in my bank within 20 minutes. That is paid off in full now.
My credit score is way above the national average, and miles higher than my area, so obviously it counts for nothing.
I DEFINATELY won't be recommending these to anyone.

A waste of time!! Rather than decline you straight away they let you wait for a whole day or 3 then when you contact they tell you you’re declined! I really could have gone elsewhere and got a decision sooner!! Not a bad company but it would be best to let people know straight away rather than waste a whole 2 days for a measly decision!! Not cool

I missed a payment due to my payment date changing, I rang and spoke to someone and they advised that it was fine and I could make payment on my new due date, inbetween payments I was receiving 5 calls a day and multiple texts and emails. I find this company very harassing!!!

Great. Few hoops to jump through, i received affordable loan which i paid back within 2 days. I guess you respect the system and all is good. I have full time employment too, just had a gap in pay and they helped. Pay quick avoid interest

Great short term lending

Applied for loan in April 2022 as I needed to buy some computer parts for my PC, which I paid off in the next 3 months.
