From the initial approach through to completion, everything was conducted with a high degree of professionalism.
While I had not been familiar with Caters beforehand, I felt comfortable and confident in proceeding with the relationship.
The process was consistently reliable and well-structured, yet also flexible when required — something I particularly valued.

Everyone was very helpful when collecting the information for me and selling it to magazines!

I sold exclusive rights to caters media for my viral video and it was the worst decision I have ever made in social media marketing. A year went by without ever receiving an update or a payment. I was told I need to send an email every time I want information (they won’t just pay you when they’re paid). They never uploaded my documents to my user account to track any sales. Sales occurred without my knowledge that also were not added to my account. When I messaged them to receive payment after my video hit 15 million views, they made me email a different person, and then another person. After a week I had to follow up again. (It was 13 months later at this point). I then was told I’d be paid. Then another month went by and no payment was received after I sent my pay details. I emailed again to understand where is my payment? I’ve not heard a response. Every time I do get one they say it’ll happen sometime in the future. They don’t pay their clients or update them or update their user accounts. I truly wish I signed with any other outlet that I was contacted by so my video could have the credit it deserved (that I would receive the pay for it and not caters keeping 100% of it for themselves). Took my video and then took 100% proceeds.

My experience with this company has been very negative. In my case, they sent copyright claims that I believe were unfounded, in an attempt to charge for material they did not create. From what I observed, they request licenses from the copyright holder to report videos, but also end up reporting content that was published before they even had those rights. This gives the impression that their main goal is to generate revenue rather than protect intellectual property in a fair way.

I also have serious doubts about whether they compensate the creators whose content they manage. When I tried to share this opinion, they even attempted to have my review removed, which I found far from transparent.

This company is 💩, they send false copyright claims to make you pay them a lot of money for something they did not make. They ask the copyright owner to give them a license to report videos but they still report videos that people posted before they had the rights to report, they only want money and don't really care about nothing more than that.
They probably don't even pay to the creators to use their content. This is just not correct and legal.

I was contacted on tik tok by sam cranfield after i made a tik tok video about a bull on the loose in small heath i filled a form in and aam kept in contact with me the whole time advising me the whole time very happy with service and sam was extreamly helpfull ..amazing guys thank you

Once again I’ve tried contacting Caters News having seen my content being used and they have ignored THREE emails sent over the past month! So unprofessional- avoid avoid avoid

Signed a contract with a video of a man falling drunk in bush on holiday, seen this circulating around other platforms and when I look on account comes up with no video on there.
BEWARE OF THESE, BANG OUT OF ORDER... EMAILS SENT AND NOW NO REPLY..

The positive reviews on this site are all by Indians from India. The workers are outsourced to Indians abroad, and they have a horrible customer service. Rip off and stole content from everyone and not paying people.

Signed a contract for a TikTok in July 2024, on the online portal it has my clips which I’d seen going viral on Facebook over the past 10 months racking up millions of views. There’s still no sales and when I last had contact they said there were no sales in my account! Somebody has clearly used my content as it’s been circulating on four different accounts, none responsive to emails now and no update 10 months later.
