No boots, no refund, no one home.
I ordered a pair of boots on November 17th 2011. I then returned them the following week for a larger size. It is now JANUARY 23rd and I have been unable to reach ANYONE about a refund (I would still like the boots if I can get them!) Funny...I can still place an order if I want, (of course none of those people can do anything BUT take an order). I have waited on hold for over 25 minutes (several times, at various times of the day) to speak to a supervisor or "customer service rep", sent several e-mails, to no avail. So here I am in Minnesota with no new boots and $82.00 poorer. I will NEVER order from Chadwicks again.
If there is a star lower than 0....Chadwicks gets it!!!!!
I have tried to resolve a billing issue for a month and have been put on hold for over an hour waiting for a "supervisor" everytime I call!! Since I have a life...I eventually have to hang up. My issue is that I returned 2 skirts (cheap quality) and only received credit for one. Now I am being billed for the second skirt. And it's $20 more than the sales price!!!!. (S&H)
Can't reach anyone at Chadwicks!!!!
I ordered an instock item from Chadwicks on 12/13/11 and received an email indicating my order was received. Never heard anything back from Chadwicks since I placed my order. Called customer service and was placed on hold for 1/2 hour. Tried to check my order status on line, but the feature was broken. Tried to send them an email via the "Contact us" feature...that too was broken. How does this company stay in business if you can never reach them? That sucks and they suck. I so done with Chadwicks. This the 2nd time I've had a debocle with them. I'm so done!!!
Deceptive Email Advertising and Poor customer service
I recently fell for a Chadwicks' email ad that said 25% off EVERYTHING plus $4.99 shipping. When I placed my online order, I did not get 25% off and was charged $10.00 shipping. When I called Chadwicks customer service line and hit "2" for cancellations my call was immediately placed on hold. After listening to very loud and obnoxious music for 15 minutes, my call was disconnected. This happened 15 times!!!! The next day I called back only to have the same thing happen again. Then I decided to hit "1" for orders and my call was answered immediately. Of course they could not help me but transferred me to Customer Service who did anwser my call after about 10 minutes on hold.
The woman who answered would not cancel my order. When I then asked to speak to her supervisor I was told that she was the supervisor. I said that I needed to then speak to the person she reported to and was told that she did not report to anyone. Bottom line this is a SCAM company I will never do business with again!!!!!!!!
Poor quality clothing, broken web links & too many marketing emails!
I'm not a fan of Chadwicks. Their catalogs are full of attractive, reasonably priced clothing that doesn't deliver - very often, it's poorly cut, cheap material & reminds you of the old saying, "YOu get what you paid for." In addition, by ordering from Chadwicks, you are automatically added to lots of other catalog mailing lists.
I have not ordered from Chadwicks in a couple years. No matter how often I request to be removed from their mailing lists, I still receive catalogs and tons of emails.
When you receive an email from them and look for the "unsubscribe" link, "To unsubscribe from this e-mail list, please unsubscribe here" you are connected to a broken link & receive "Server Error in '/' Application.
The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "FK_eca_CONTACT". The conflict occurred in database "netmarketing", table "dbo.contact", column 'recid'.
The statement has been terminated. "
When you try a different approach and go to the " To reply to this e-mail, please use our Customer Contact Form" link, you receive "
Sorry! The page you have requested does not exist or has moved.."
In other words, it's very difficult to get your name removed from their annoying mailing lists.
Their low quality products, website bugs & difficulty to remove one's name from their online & offline mailing lists guarantee that I will never shop with them again.
Chadwicks Customers Beware of Thank You Award Notice
I have been a customer of Chadwicks for at least 8 years. I recently recieved a Thank You Award Notice form a "Preferred Partner of Chadwicks" misleading me to think that I could select 194.00 worth of free gifts. All it required was my signature and the selected gift items. Guess what Chadwicks gave my personal Visa debit card number used for my most recent order to this company that has now charged my account for $160.00! Thanks for the appreciation
