I would them a zero if I could. They have our $7500,00. We never got a confirmation number so had no way of checking into our condo on Maui. We had to pay out of pocket plus the money they stole from us. We tried to contact them through text, phone, mail, email, Facebook, Instagram etc. they NEVER took our calls or responded in any way. This is a SCAM!
I reserved a $7,000 non-refundable condo for a ski week in Park City, UT last winter from Chimera via VRBO. 2 days before the trip my wife broke her foot. I called Erica at Chimera and said that because it was not refundable we would like to use the $ I gave them for a condo rental next winter instead ...and if that was not possible we would just go and hang out in the condo and enjoy the sights. She said that they understood that the last minute medical problem would grant an exemption and that we could give me a refund. Well, the refund never happened and they do not answer the phone or return calls. I am out $7K !!!
In October of 2022 we planned a ski vacation. Chimera quoted and emailed verification that we were going to be charged 9,400 for a week stay at a property in Park City. My credit card statement came in shortly thereafter and the original asking price of 13,500 was indicated. My wife and I attempted countless times to contact Chimera to correct this discrepancy. We left voicemails and emails and they never bothered to contact us. To this day I still have a charge of 13,500 on my credit card. We did not go to the property as we did not agree on this price. To my family this is complete fraud and totally inept service to not even attempt to get back in touch with us. Terrible company that cannot even return a call. I would recommend that noone use this company.
