Guys, based on my experience with my book, I would strongly advise new authors to AVOID Clever Fox Publishing.
I was referred by a friend after seeing some online ratings, but my actual experience was very different. Poor response, delayed work, lack of transparency and no clear approach. Not suitable for first-time or new authors. Please be careful.

I am a first time author for books though i have published a lot of research papers during my career. I had visited USA for 90 days with my wife and our daughter and son in law live in New Jersey, i had made a travelogue of my visit and was in search of a publisher. My elder brother had published 4 books with Clever Fox Publishers. I got their contact from him and sent an email to the company. I was promptly contacted by a member of the group Mr. Rony, Publishing Consultant, who patiently guided me through and cleared all my doubts, by the end of the day I had finalised all details for publication of my travelogue with the title " The Grand American Odessey - 90 Days Across America and Beyond" and paid the first installment. Within a week they finalised a project manager Ms. Vaishaly for me. I wanted my book to be published both as a paperback as well as an ebook. A very patient lady. As guided by her I uploaded and sent my manuscript, made my cover page, author and book details for front and back cover. Over a month with emails back and forth, frankly I needed lots of clarification. Very promptly after an acceptable period I received the author proof and finally into was able to successfully publish my first book as a paperback and now as an ebook. Their marketing team Ms. Komal and Ecommerce team Ms. Thabiya helped me to successfully upload a poster on my social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Its now available on Amazon, Flipkart, Amazon Kindle and Ziffy. I have also taken their international listing to make it available all over the world. I am really grateful to ms. Clever Fox Publishers for the great journey as i feel immensely happy after my first publication. A big achievement for me. Cheers.

A solid experience.

My experience with Clever Fox Publishing has been seamless. This is a first for me, and the transparency provided by every member of Clever Fox Publishing has helped immensely. Clever fox publishing is very professional and their dashboard is really a game changer. You get to know the stages of your publishing very clearly.
Project Consultant will onboard you and explain the details. Once payment is done PC will assign a Project Manager and later PM will work with you thru the process to get the entire work done. Kamala was very patient and professional PM to work with and she helped me with entire process and understand author requirements very well.

If support is also well equipped to do the after sales support , this would be the greatest publishing agency.

I came with zero experience and knowledge about book publishing, but now I am able to understand the process much better.

As a gentle suggestion, sometimes the frequent follow-ups and tight timelines can feel a bit overwhelming for new authors. At the same time, maintaining the promised timelines, having stronger teamwork, and smoother communication across all team members could make the overall process even more comfortable and supportive for authors.

That said, I truly appreciate that whenever there were any issues, they were handled well and resolved properly. I am thankful to the team for helping me learn and grow through this experience.

Since my manuscript “Connecting the Clues: From Creation to Culmination” was based on Qur’an, I was very much concerned about the safety of the content and was looking for a publisher that I can trust. My search ended when I visited the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 and met the sincere and cooperative Mr. Pawan Verma. Then onward there was no looking back, and finally, with the efforts of the Clever Fox Publishing team associated with this project, the “manuscript” was officially transformed into a “book” that has been made available for the readers throughout the globe.
With the cooperation of my initial Point of Contact, Mr. Pawan Verma, I was able to avail the Akshaya Tritiya Offer that further helped me to choose my publication package, which was “Wood.” The combination of “Wood” package and the “Akshaya Tritiya Offer” exactly provided me the services and benefits I wanted.

As a debut author, I had countless doubts and apprehensions about publishing my first romantic thriller novel Still Finding You. But choosing Clever Fox Publishing was one of the best decisions I made in this journey.

My book is yet to be published but I am posting the review in the interim process as I am super frustrated with the services.
I had given a deadline for the book to be published and the team agreed to that as well but the services are so so so poor that I am skeptical that it will get published in time.
Basics of project management are missing, where no communication with the author. Project manager doesn’t acknowledges the emails, hasn’t even don’t a kick off meeting to show me the process and steps involved in publishing. I have no visibility on how the progress l. Some of the tasks that can be a parallel activity like discussing pricing , keywords etc have not even been discussed until now.
God alone knows that what’s happening with the overall progress as only 3 working days are left for the due date I provided to the publisher.
I would not recommend clever fix to anyone. If you have to take the pain of following up with the publisher every day then you might as well opt for some of their competitors and pay less for the publishing.

I did not know that publishing my book could go this smoothly, and it’s all thanks to the wonderful team at Cleverfox. From the very beginning, they were incredibly supportive and patient, making the entire journey feel easy and exciting.

A special thank you to my project manager, Suriya Narayanan—he was more helpful than words can express. No matter how many times I reached out with questions or poked for updates, he remained calm, kind, and always ready to guide me through every hiccup with true patience.
