Doves Cottage Avis

The location was amazing. The low rating for cleanliness is because whilst all the key areas (toilet, sink, etc.) were clean as a whole the cottage could do with a thorough clean (cupboard fronts, skirting boards, floors steam cleaned, upholstery on arm chair, etc.). Also the bed linen and towels didn’t smell fresh. On value for money, I appreciate you are paying for the location, but for the price I would have expected some basics (tea, coffee, cooking oil) to have been left and we had to buy additional toilet roll. All of this said we loved the cottage, just think with a little more thought and effort it could be even lovelier.

A wonderfully, quaint cottage in a beautiful location. This made an ideal quiet much enjoyed break.

Lovely location for coastal walks and visiting nearby towns

Idyllic location and heavenly views. Worth noting that there is no internet and the mobile signal is extremely fragile - this is a mixed blessing, great for isolation, terrible for planning, weather, travel etc.!

Fabulous location right by the sea with direct access to the coastal path. Cosy, well-equipped cottage and spotlessly clean.

What a location, perfect!

Vérifié

A lovely cottage. Perfect for one or two people and right above the sea giving a great view of the tides coming in and going out and the sea bird antics. Beautiful location and comfortable accommodation with great character.

A beautiful little cottage in a stunning location. Particularly enjoyed having no internet/phone signal unless in the garden. We will be back.

Fantastic location. Perfect cottage for 2+ 4 legged friend. Right on coastal path added bonus of seals in the bay. Thank you for a lovely week.

Cannot better location, idyllic spot and perfect for dogs. Always something new to see with the twice daily tide. That’s why we return year after year.
