Angela's reply that we should wash the bedding was treated with derision.

My second e-mail to her was unanswered. We had to make do with no suitable cleaning equipment to leave the apartment as we found it.

Good afternoon Angela,

We have been renting holiday properties for over 30 years: two weeks in Spring, three weeks in Summer and two weeks in Autumn. We like to keep the property clean and tidy, laving it as we find it, in some rare occasions, cleaner.

This may be difficult in The Cabin. We still can't use the vacuum cleaner and the floor mop has no.sponge head.

Also, there is a set of instructions to ensure the shower remains mould free. The final instruction is to "Use the mould and mildew spray provided. Wash off after". The spray is not available and, if it was, there is no squeegee with which to remove it.

Please ask the caretaker to remedy these deficiencies, so that, as in the past, we can leave the property as we found it.

Thank you for your email, normally unless previously requested you would not receive a change of bed linen, the same for the Towels, as a self catering property you can use the Washing machine at the property to wash the Items, please could we ask that you don't use the items under the bed as they are placed there for storage only, the caretaker has her routine for doing the changeovers at the property.

We will speak to the caretaker about the vacuum cleaner head, she may have taken it with her.

Coastal Cottages were very helpful when booking our cottage. The booking process was simple and the location was excellent. The cottage itself was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed it so much we’ve rebooked for next year!

Ease of booking and information of the property was excellent but still waiting for an answer on a upright chair for my 88 year old mother otherwise it would have been a 5

Comfortable and well equipped cottage in stunning location right next to the lovely bay at Abereiddy. The cottage had everything we needed and it was really cosy with the log burner going on the chilly evenings. Really nice outside space as well.

Booking system was straight forward and good communication throughout. Cleaners re-visited soon after we arrived to attend to a minor matter and checked that all else was in order.

Very easy to make a booking, we didn’t receive our confirmation straight away so we contacted the office and they sorted it out for us, all very nice to deal with.

Excellent communication and I feel very confident in using Coastal cottages for booking a holiday. Always had a positive experience.

I have booked holidays with Coastal on several occasions over a number of years. When I have had problems not of their making they have always been very quick to come up with a solution to help resolve matters.
Recently I rang to cancel a booking as my wife had had a heart attack and was in hospital. I expected to lose my deposit but the lady I spoke to contacted the owners of the holiday property and they kindly agreed to me moving my holiday until later in the year on the same deposit. Well done and thank you.

The cottage is in a wonderful location with gorgeous views from the garden and conservatory. Lovely short walk down to the village and beach, also a lovely walk to Colby Gardens. The cottage could benefit from a deep clean and some tlc. The mattresses could do with replacing. It’s the only cottage we’ve stayed in where we’ve dreaded going to bed because we knew the beds were so uncomfortable. 2 of us even contemplated about sleeping on the sofa. We also felt that the cottage was a bit of a dumping ground for people’s unwanted items, eg mugs, glasses, ornaments. Very few items matched. When we’ve stayed in other cottages we have received an email the day before departure telling us what we need to do before departure, eg stripping beds. There was nothing in any of the literature in the cottage telling us what was expected when we leave. We also thought communication was poor from the moment we booked. This is the first time using coastal cottages and I don’t think we’ll be using them again.

Great process online to book our holiday on Tuesday, still not received the booking confirmation 3 days later

The price was very competitive and the confirmation and information about the property was very good. Also the free entrance to the deer park in Tenby was an unexpected bonus.

Everything okay except I wasn't able to pay with PayPal. Apparently some glitch in the system.
