Compare Parking Deals Avis 

i booked meet & greet for Manchester airport,with Compare Parking Deals. My e-mail acknowledgement came back from them with the name of Manchester Car Park M & G. Their driver collected my car, after I phoned the mobile number on my e-mail acknowledgement, on my arrival at the airport. When I landed back at Manchester I tried to phone the same number but I could not get through! the number always went straight to voice mail - but the mail box was full! After numerous tries I eventually spoke to someone - This is where all the lies started: My car was blocked in and the keys for the other cars were locked in a safe at another site which was 2 hours away. they said they would phone me back - NEVER DID. I kept phoning back and again eventually spoke to someone. The lads where now moving the other cars and my car would be with me soon, they would phone me back - NEVER DID. After many hours and many phone calls, with me using 3 different phones, there were many many many more lies. Including a popular one that the person had just come on the shift, would sort it out and ring me back - NEVER DID. after six and a half hours I went to the airport police, who said that Manchester Car Park M&G was known for this. Although the police said they could do very little, an officer gave me a map of where he belived my car would be parked, at Stockport, and sugested that I took a taxi and go there. I took a taxi to the location and it was operated by Manchester Car Park M&G, there were lots of cars there, but not mine, and yes youve guessed it - the guy at the park had just come on duty and new nothing, but he did phone "his boss" - My taxi driver, who was brillliant, took the phone off him and found out that my car was at their Styal site. My taxi driver eventually found the Styal site and there was my car in a field, with many more, 4 miles from from the airport - SEVEN AND A HALF HOURS later I had my car back, AND I HAD TO GO AND FIND IT!!!!!

WHAT EVER YOU DO STAY WELL AWAY FROM COMPARE PARKING DEALS AND MANCHESTER CAR PARK M & G - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I used this company to book a meet and greet at Heathrow and ended up with a provider called Central Airport Parking. Please do avoid them if you want your car back undamaged. It took the company an hour late at night to bring my car back and they dropped it at the passenger drop off at terminal 3 so you don't have any chance to properly check the car as you are not allowed to park there for more than a quick stop. When we got home we noticed a large scratch along our new car across the both doors. This is costing us £1300 to fix! And while Compare Parking deals was fairly responsive to my complaint and offered to pay me back whatever I had paid, this is nothing in compared to how much it costs to fix the scratch. The actual service provider, CAP, did nothing and did not reply to any emails and several weeks later I only got a standard policy email saying they cover nothing. Cant believe Compare parking deals approve this type of service provider.

This is a total joke of a company. They do not care anything about who they advertsise on their website. They are currently promoting a company that is in the process of being struck off. My car was abused, misused and crashed by one of their promoted parking companies. I have brought this to the attention of CompareParking and they don't give a flying dot. Avoid this company at all costs and my further advice is if that you use a meet and greet and give up your keys you have no comeback aside from mgoing legal if anything goes wrong. Check the small print on their T&Cs too and you will find you are left without recourse if something goes wrong. Use car parks where you keep your keys.

Cancelled on us last minute and couldn't offer an alternative. Not ideal and wasn't helpful.

Getting my car back was a ***COMPLETE DISASTER***

They say to call when you land and the car will be with you in 5-20 minutes.

I called and then waited 20 minutes for nobody to arrive. I called again, another 20 minutes and nobody arrived.

I had to call again, and again, and again...

After an HOUR stood in the cold I complained and was promised a call back. Nobody called.

I rang them again... and again…

An hour and a half after I first rang the car shows up with a scratch all down the driver door and a totally, completely flat tyre. The guy who dropped it off didn't even stay to help me put on my spare wheel and instead just left me there in the dark.

It then gets even worse. As he had parked it in a quick stay car park I had to pay the £5 fine to get my car back out of the car park as it took me so long to put the spare wheel on by myself

When I called the company to complain this morning they have continued to hang up on me.

Having the puncture looked at in the garage today, something the rough size of a screwdriver went through the wall of the tyre meaning it is non repairable, also costing me a brand new tyre. I also suspect the damage was deliberate due to the size and placement of the opening.

Unacceptable in every respect. If they continue to ignore my calls I will have no option but to seek legal advice.

I also can’t help but wonder if rather than being parked in a secure location, my car spent my holiday dumped on the streets of Bristol and was as a result vandalized.

Terrible service, avoid like the plague!
Booked CAP meet and greet from Heathrow and on arrival it took over an hour to get our car back. On questioning the delay they were full of excuses such as heavy traffic but there was none. If I could give this company zero stars I would

I booked M&G car parking at Manchester through this company which was described as uniformed attendants with company ID. I was a little worried when I received the email following booking which provided a mobile number to call the company with collection at the short stay drop off point.

When i rang the number, the guy didn't have any knowledge of my booking and cut me off several times. He eventually rang back to say a driver would be waiting.

When I got to the airport there was nobody there. I called again but got no answer. My wife tried from her number but also got no answer. There were attendants present who were pushing us to move on. After about 10 minutes a guy turned up who was dressed for what could only be described as a Friday night out. I asked to see his company ID and needless to say he din't have any. He showed me instead his Bulgarian ID card and a piece of paper with someone else's details on.

I decided not to leave my car with this company and spent a considerable amount at the nearby on site car park.

There was no way I was prepared to leave my car with them.

I contacted 'Compare Parking Deals' after my trip and they said they would speak to the operator and get back to me. It's not surprising that after two weeks I haven't heard anything.

My advice is stay clear of this company and I wouldn't trust some of the 5 star reviews on this website.

Got to airport at Manchester meet and greet to find company had packed up thanks for on site security got me another company after six or seven phone calls got some money back but no offer of extra I had to pay out my holiday money told to email them so management could look at it still no reply please keep clear companies they use are not checked and cars are parked in pub car parks and side streets please keep clear

Looking for parking looked after my car during my holiday.My flight was delayed and they were very supportive of the situation.They were responsive to telephone calls and steve who picked us up was very helpful and sympathetic to our circumstances.Thank you for everything.

Simply do not use this company. They are utterly unprofessional - website, emails, bookings come with errors/typos/mistakes and they have no understanding (or at least practice) of Consumer Contracts Regulations. They will not address questions from customers in emails and will charge fees where they are not entitled to do so. I luckily got (most of) my money back when I cancelled this booking - but I only cancelled due to the complete unprofessionalism and real lack of authenticity I could see in the booking once it came through to me. I then started researching the company and read (exclusively) terrible reviews. Spend a couple of pounds more and use someone professional and don't risk your car...

GREAT COMPANY I HAVE USED FOR PARKING MY BRAND NEW CAR REALLY LOOKED AFTER MY NEW GAVE IT ME BACK AS I GAVE IT TO THEM...
