The absolute worst

The absolute worst! Multiple product failures and ZERO response from customer support. Ileostomy bags with seal failure points on multiple batches leaving you with leaks and all the associated problems. I emailed Convatec to make them aware of the faulty product in the hopes of saving someone else from the disaster I had to deal with due the faulty product. I got no reply or acknowledgement. I thought this may just be a bad batch, other batch numbers show the same failure points (6 boxes) on the adhesive seam where the bags are bonded together. Convatec clearly do not care about this issue as they are still producing faulty bags. This isn't a product people choose to have but need to have. The last thing people need is a lack of quality control.

Convatec have discontinued orabase paste.. BRILLIANT 10********** sticks to wet skin PERFECTLY can easily be removed and is GENTLE on excoriated skin NO DAMAGE THERE XXX
Stomahesive paste..absolutely TERRIBLE 👎😡😡😡😡goes everywhere but the right place it takes a digger to remove it and you are left with a deep wound down to the hypodermis...I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT...ITS DANGEROUS I've been a District Nurse for many years and my experience has spanned 42years and NEVER have I used such a dangerous product. I would highly recommend this company bring back Orabase protective paste

I have used Euro Tec for years

I have used Euro Tec for years, they were always great quality and had helpful people. They were taken over by Convatec and production moved from Holland to East Europe. Since then, the quality has deteriorated. The bags sometimes leak from the lower left seam. OK so it's not every time, but anyone with an ileostomy needs assurance they are not going to come unexpectedly undone. Convatec has ruined an excellent product and I now have to find an alternative. For an Ostomate trust is all, and I do not trust Convatec.

All the information needed is above. I'm not the only one whose experienced the problem. You need to review your manufacturing, not waste time with platitudes.

I would rather given 0 star if option…

I would rather given 0 star if option available.For the past 2 years I was using Convatec ostomy products but suddenly they changed the product back in Jan 2025 and guess what..The quality gets even poorer than ever...My stoma bag gets leaking again and again after few days and I to purchase new one for sure... I'm currently located in Pakistan plz take some actions about the product quality and make better ones...

I met Reuben, at an event, friendly and knowledgeable about the products.
Samples sent and did everything promised. Transferring to ConvaTec for my supplies.

Interviewed with them

Interviewed with them. Two stages of interviews, both were an hour long of in depth questions about my topic.

Then.

Radio silence. Nothing at all. No reply to my many follow up emails. Nothing.

It’s months later now so I won’t ever chase again. I will never interview with them again either.

Terrible company…poor uneducated rude employees. Aggressive and ignorant security that believes it’s perfectly acceptable to harass a member of the public, in a public place.
Then to call the police and waste their time. Because they are too lazy to find out the Law for themselves.

Dangerously unhinged security guard will drive on the pavement in an attempt to hit you.

Stay away from this place. I mean do not walk on the pavement outside because an unhinged and aggressive security guard will drive his car at you on the pavement and try to injure you, then start demanding you answer to him because apparently he is in charge of the pavements outside the business, and has the right to stop random passers by and demand to know why they are there.......

Don't risk making contact for any samples!
Convatec will keep making unsolicited contacts to re-repeat a shed load of the same questions as each and every other Convatec asks. Each caller ignores the answers already given to every of the other 10 unsolicited callers!

Lights R On but nobody is home

Called today to inquire about product opportunity for myself. A ostomy patient for 5 years i started having a issue with my current hollister product and found the tech support very lacking. This alone prompted me to look at a new appliance. Convatec has several options that appeal but when calling no one answers the phone. After being on hold I opted to receive a return call and missed it because untimely. SO I wrote convatec through your inquiry page which needed a email to submit. My inbox was hit with spam within seconds and required me to call if I wanted to opt out. I called and guess what?? I was put on hold and offered a option for a call back. CONVATEC! I SEE NO FUTURE TOGETHER. Sir/Mam when a patient is trying to maintain dignity with a medical device to discharge fecal matter into a bag, a little personal help with people that can do more than read a scripted note would be a great place to call. How about convatec at least start with answering the phone. This could be the single thing to boost your business plan but it will be without my thin dime. You failed me before you even answered your phone.

I use the esenta lubricating deodorant. The sprayer does not always work. You may get a spray or two and then it stops working. You spray and spray and it finally starts to work but will stop again. You need a new kind of top so it can come out easier.

Sharp Practice

Registered online with Convatec recently. Note I have been ordering their Ostomy products since 1977 when I seem to remember they were called Squibb. I was after Esenta Adhesive Remover Wipes which have replaced their previous product Niltac. This was often difficult to obtain but it was possible to order it direct from Convatec. HOWEVER I was told that the new Accounts team at the Amcare Group forbid this Esenta product to be ordered UNLESS the entire Ostomy order is ordered through them. Amcare and Convatec are linked in some way. At present I order all my medication through Boots online and am very happy with the service. The odd item is unavailable from them hence trying to order from Convatec. It does make you wonder if this world is run by accountants, totally uninpressed.
