I can't feel like they don't last forever, I do beat up these shoes a fair bit. I've taken them to raves, I've worn them every day, and I just love not having laces. They match everything I have and I always come back to them. I will say--they do their best to accommodate, and I wasn't very nice to them when I complained about my shoes breaking, but they gave me a coupon and I ended up not using it anyway. Came back, got new shoes. All things considered, 100 bucks for daily drivers that last a couple of years -- I think they are worth that. The tariffs kinda bum me out though... Shipping didn't use to be this bad 😞

I ordered a couple pairs of Fugu shoes as gifts. They look cool, but the quality is not as good as their marketing. Clear signs of adhesive around the edges of the soles for example. The fit is not what you’d expect as there are just straps and no true lacing system. My friend was unimpressed and also states they were unsupportive and uncomfortable.
I reached out to see if I could return them for a refund. They rigidly stood by their 14 day return policy. I asked for an exception politely and they declined. Rather than creating a good customer experience they’d prefer to sell overpriced low quality products. Would not recommend.

Recently bought a pair of Tabi’s for my partner, but they were uncomfortable around the toe section as my partner has had previous foot trauma from competitive skating. We asked if it would be possible to swap them for another pair, as my partner had gotten on really well with their Maguros, and the Tabis had only been worn on carpet with socks on.

I sent the request on Christmas, and received a response same day. I asked if it would be okay to make an additional payment for the Unagis, which they were easily able to accommodate.

Got the new pair today, just before the new year, very happy with their service and communication.

They market these as barefoot shoes but they aren't. I wear barefoot shoes most of the time and I knew these weren't going to be that, but decided to give it a try. Like any commercial shoe, I had blisters after walking in them for the first few days (and I'm a walker), barefoot shoes don't ever make wounds. This is out of principle, that companies should stop using marketing language. Besides that, they are chic shoes to wear but I'd say overpriced for what they are. I got the Maguro. They shipped from Israel.

Order a pair of shoes from them and they were too tight on one foot. I emailed them for return label. But they wouldn't provide one but gave me the address to ship it too. meaning i would have to pay for shipping it back which they wouldn't reimburse me for it. Honestly very disappointed in this store.

Bought a pair of Fugu Sa Me shoes from them and was appalled at the build quality as well as their frankly horrible returns policy. They really expect me to pay £50 to return a £70 pair of shoes. On top of that, they refused to accept my negative review on their website, so now I'm posting it here. Disgraceful.
