When I had my car towed to Cottmans KC, I had several repairs that needed to be compleated. Within a few days, I received notification that my car was ready for pickup.

I had taken my truck to Cottman…
I had taken my truck to Cottman suspecting that a vibration I was feeling was a transmission problem. They found that actually my driveshaft was very loose and repaired it accordingly.
A second problem was my "check engine" light, which had been coming on intermittently for months. Other shops had failed to find the problem but Cottman diagnosed a faulty EGR valve. I replaced that myself and have had no further check engine light illuminations.
I was completely impressed with the competence and friendliness of Cottman and will happily refer others.

Almost scammed by Michael cottman's transmission on Wornall
The manager Mike told me he would take care of my slipping transmission instead he never fixed the transmission...... I was in the process of having different engines put in and out of the car so seeing that I never received my new transmission work really took me by surprise... I had to threaten to sue cottman's before I was given new parts...... Not cool cottman's transmission on 80th and Wornall.

I ‘m glad that you have your car back on the road. It is possible the alternator may be functioning but still has problems. When I perform “Batteries, Starting, and Charging Systems,” Test I use a “Midtronics MDX-224P,” which produces a report as to those systems’ conditions. That report is what I relay to my customers. If you would like, I would be happy to retest your car and give you the report. Kevin

Stalker company
Will never use them again. After agreeing to work on my car Pittman declined to make repairs after I had it towed to their shop. After refusing they charged me to store it. I simply got fed up and left it there.

Sometimes car problems can be very stressful. I do try to make it as easy as possible. I know you had your Cadillac at another shop for several months and they informed you that your car had a major transmission problem. By the time you towed your car to my shop, the engine would not start or run. As I explained, in order for me to check your transmission, the engine needed to be running and I could get it running for you. You told me that you had a guy that would come tow your car and get it running for you. No one ever showed up after numerous phone calls and conversations. You abandoned your car here almost one year ago. Kevin

I remember your truck. It is the one that someone cut a hole in the engine oil pan instead of removing the pan correctly. Then they tried to weld it back together and it was leaking terribly. As you recall, it was the middle of winter and I was blessed with a ton of work. I told you that I could do the repairs for you but it would take a bit to get caught up enough to get to your truck.
