Start ReportingCreditLadder is the first & only way to report your rent payments and improve your credit position with Experian, Equifax, TransUnion & Crediva.
Signing up to CreditLadder is simple and only takes a few minutes. Register your details and once completed, connect your bank account to provide CreditLadder with read only access. You keep paying your rent as you do today - CreditLadder does not collect your rent.
Each month CreditLadder will match the rent payments you have made to your landlord or letting agent through the secure bank connection you’ve created. This information is then shared with Experian, Equifax, TransUnion and Crediva and will appear on the respective statutory reports.
CreditLadder has been reporting rent payments since 2016, is regulated by the FCA, and has reported over £1bn in rent payments.
CreditLadder has also been recognised for its work by the Government, when HM Treasury announced it was the biggest winner of their Rent Recognition Challenge competition.

Great service
Great service. Your rent payments are recorded on your credit file, just like other regular payments, building your credit history and maybe repairing it too. Lenders can see how you manage your finances and these rent payments will be considered. My credit file has been boosted by whilst using the app. Very pleased with it.

Easy connection
Easy connection to my bank for monthly rent payments register. It does work. Payments registered almost instantly. Hope my credit score will go higher after couple of months.

Good idea to prove reliability
I think it did my credit score good as I have high level of debt so consistent payment of rent and never missing credit card payments potentially proves reliability and managed to get a mortgage. Knocked a star off because unsure if paying the extra for all credit agencies was worth it.

Should've started doing this years ago!
I've had a shaky history with credit and have previously demolished my credit score through a series of silly decisions, but have always paid my rent on time. Have always found it frustrating that this isn't reflected at all on my credit score, so this is definitely a huge win for someone like me - who has paid off most of their debt, but doesn't trust themselves with a line of credit. Very easy to setup and haven't had a problem with it since! I feel like I wasted 10 years of paying rent on time, so I highly recommend. I even ended up paying for the premium service which allows all credit agencies to reflect your rent - worth if you can afford it, but the free option is a no-brainer for anyone in my opinion :)

Great customer relationship. I ended up my reporting but probably did not end the subscription. I was billed after that. When I complained of this, I was given prompt attention and follow-up until the debit was successfully reversed.
